iPod thread!! This
iPod thread!! This thread is all for iPods! DO you have one?? If so what color is it? If you don't have one do you wish you did?? You can post the best games for them, or talk about the songs too.
I'll start! I have a purple nano version 4. (the newest one, besiides the one with the camera) I LOVE to stay up really late listening to Owl City, and watching movies on it. The battery is really bad, and the games drain it, so I don't play them often. Although I did buy a really fun game, and it's addicting! (ask my neighbor). Also one of my friends just got a touch yesterday. It's soo fun. My cousin Tif (Tiffany, but that's not his real name) also has one, but he hates when my little cousins play it, so I can only play when they're not around. Hehe, I was bored so I'm pretty much just rambling about!

P.S. Oh wow! I get roses now!! *bows* Thankyou! Thankyou!

Purple nano. The new one, with the camera. And the ONLY reason we have the newest version is that we took a really long time to get an iPod in the first place.

I never understood a device to tell you what the weather is. Why would someone not just look outside and see? That, at least, is 100% accurate.
(May 4, 2010 - 10:40 pm)
Not necessarily... It'll tell you what to expect, see, which is helpful for people like me who live in places with true sayings like "If you don't like the weather in Wyoming, wait 15 minutes." Sun one minute, sleet and wind the next. *sigh*

Re: Batteries and why you don't change them: Because they're built in and replacing them would require getting the appropriate battery, then forcibly prying the iPod apart and potentially damaging the internal hardware and rendering the device useless anyway...
Short answer: Apple didn't design them to have replaceable batteries.
As to the battery problem, common suggestions are to update your iPod software (via iTunes), restore the iPod (if you don't mind loosing all the music/movies/games on that iPod). Another method is recalibrating the battery moniter by fully charging your iPod and then letting it die completely. Do that twice. It may or may not work, though plenty of people have gotten good results.
Also, I totally want an iPhone, except for the AT&T issue. And that I don't have 400 bucks to shell out for one...

I have a third generation 8GB iPod Touch I bought with my own money. Um, regular color? With a clear/white case. About the battery issue, if it tends to drain when you stay up late listening to Owl City and watching movies (I pretty much do that every night, too... not just Owl City, though), consider getting a wall charger. I mean, it obviously wouldn't help if you didn't have an electric outlet near your bed, but if you do, it'd help a lot. Or it does for me. :)

I'm afraid it is gone. Now all I have to do is tell Mother.... She shouldn't be too mad since I bought it at school with MY own points (you see we have this point system, and there was this iPod.... so ya)

I have a blue 16 GB nano, same gen. as you Smile :P. I have every Taylor Swift and Owl City song on itunes, and I have about 5 hrs of home videos. (I only have a little of music, but tons of videos etc.)
(May 8, 2010 - 7:31 am)
I'm looking for a new iPod now that my shuffle's giving out. Any ideas for affordable ones that can hold a good amount of songs? I'm thinking the new nano??
(May 8, 2010 - 7:21 pm)
I wouldn't get the newest nano because it breaks super easily, plus the video camera is reaally bad. I would get the generation right below it. I have it, and it is a lot better, trust me Koffee!!

I have no idea whatsoever on what my iPod is. It's just my iPod. It's an older one though, no camera, no movies, no speaker, not even fun or exciting games. I do own an iVoice however, which is just really a giant speaker you plug your iPod into. My favorite songs to listen to are...Weebl. Weebl is a website. With really annoying yet awesome songs. That go on forever unless you stop. Except on my iPod. Where they last as long as a normal song. Except one. Which lasts, like, ten min or something.
My iPod is turquoise. With a clear case. That has a detachable belt clip. That is all.
