I been lookin' at all the Warrior Clans on BaB and thought "Why don't we do something like that for dogs?" You can be any breed you want. There are/is: one leader, and any jobs you want (apprentices have to apply for a job after it's been created by someone). Once we figure out who's what and such, I'll make a separate thread for the actual stuff.

OOPS! This is my personality:
I am kind, caring, trustworthy, and clever, but I am not afraid to meet new dogs. I have a bit of an artistic side and like to carve designs in tree bark and bones. I am a very quick runner, and although I don't like to fight, I will do it if my pack is threatened.

First of all, shouldn't this be on Inkwell? Ah, well. The seperate thread can go there. That being said...
Clan role-playing is fun, but look what happened with it. It practically filled up BaB so that there was almost no room for other threads, people were getting angry at the role-players, the role-players were getting angry back, they tried to drown out other threads, and the Admin eventually had to forbid any more Clans, because everything was getting out of hand. Is that really what we want?
However, this is a good idea. It sounds enjoyable. I'd like to join, but only if everyone participating promises to keep it to one Clan only. 4 at the most. Any more and everyone will just keep making threads until the same thing happens. Oh, and we cannot let this kind of thing be a trend. The last thing we need is to fill the entire CB with Clans of parakeets, hamsters, frogs, etc. Besides cats and dogs, let's not have any more types. Please. For the sakes of the sanity of those of us who participate in other types of threads and would like to continue to do so, without having to go back several pages.

@Christina: BUUUUT...in a poll of the entire US, there were more dogs owned by people than cats. HA!

Not that it really matters whether dogs or cats are more popular. I myself love both equally...
What should the 2nd-in-command be called? The beta, like in Julie of the Wolves, because even though we're not wolves, we're close enough?
@Wolfgirl67: I like the idea of being one's own dog. I'd do that myself, but I'd have to be antagonistic towards dogs smaller than myself, and I don't want to do that.
Wait, SmallFang, you mentioned people. Are we living with people? When you said it would be like the Warriors RPs, but with dogs, I assumed we'd not live wit humans, but reading over your post, I'm unsure.
In the Warriors series, the cats worship the spirits of their ancestors. Do the dogs have a religion, or not?
