Wasn't quite sure where to put this thread, so I decided here was probably best (?).  And it may already have been done before but I really REALLY wasn't going to go through the millions of unsorted threads on this site (the organization isn't very good here, is it?  no offense, admins!) so I apologize if this is a repetitive subject.  But I was flipping through the channels and one of the X-men movies (don't know which one) was on. 

 

Now, I'm not an x-men geek, but I do think the premise of all the different powers is cool.  And it got me to thinking, If I were to have a "mutant power" (hee hee, don't know why but that makes me giggle a little) and a cool "mutant name" (tee hee), what would it be?  And maybe what color(s) would my uniform be? 

I proposed the idea to my brother and he informed me (condescendingly, as older brothers are wont to do) that my questions were pointless since the Marvel people had come up with every possible mutant known to man and exhausted all the possible powers.  Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but that sounds like a challenge to me. 

 

So, in an effort to be original and creative, I've decided my pseudo-X-man profile would look something like this:

Name:  Pestilence

Gender:  Female

Powers:  Generation of disease and decay (I know, depressing, but still morbidly cool, I think)

Colors: Brown and Black with a thin green stripe

 

Now, obviously, my answer to this question is not the powers that I would LIKE to have, but I think this would be cool anyway.  (As for the superpower I'd LIKE to have, I'm 100% going for telekinesis... that way, I could "fly" too by moving myself around as well as other objects... kinda a 2-for-1 deal!) 

What say you, Chatterboxers?  Am I creative, or disturbing?  Or will this post even make it past the Admins?

Oh, yes, telekinesis! Finally, someone who understands why that would be a cool power. All my siblings want to have powers like invisibility and being able to grow at will, and don't really understand telekinesis.

I also think telepathy would be cool (you'd have to find a way to turn it off or regulate it though), but it would probably freak other people out.

Hahaha... come on, at least admit that the character of Pestilence would be cool! I notice you didn't offer one!  Until then, I reserve the right to consider my mutant superperson awesome. 

And YES, another person who understands!  Telekinesis is like multiple powers in one.  It's flying, blasting other people off their feet, stopping something in its tracks, AND summoning the remote for the television without getting up when it's all the way across the room.

Powers: Breathe underwater, be able to fast forward and go back in time. And pause it. (like a TV remote!) :-)

Colours: A silver sweater made out of that Lulu Lemon fabric and black capris. (jeans of course) cannot forget sneakers!

Powers: Hypnosis+ the ability to make anyone go into a coma.

Knowing every language... you know, I've never actually thought of that as a superpower, but now I have to say... NICE. That would be really REALLY cool.

How about Admin Istrator?  Superpowers are total domination of the world's greatest chatrooms and the mascot is a wise old cricket?
