Chatterbox: Down to Earth
Does anybody believe
Does anybody believe in the supernatural? (Spirits, ghosts, that sort of thing.) I do. Call me crazy, but I also have a few friends who do.

Oh, that's an interesting idea.... Only, I don't know how that matches up with it being afraid of me. Thank you, also, for putting so much thought into this for me. I'm glad you don't seem to think I'm crazy. :)

Ghosts. I don't believe in them. I believe that
the spirits of the dead who entered heaven would certainly be allowed to
visit their loved ones on Earth as a way of comfort, but I don't believe that being a ghost
is an option for a permanent aferlife or anything, or that they would
actually appear to people they hadn't even known in real life, or that
they would 'haunt' anyone.
As for spirits, I do believe that there are some spirits in the natural world—just not undead spirits.
And as for aliens, I agree with Kendra completely.

I believe in miracles, because I saw one happen. On the day of my grandma's funeral, the trees were FILLED with birds. And I don't mean like just a few, I mean a TON of birds. And they sang so beautifully, it sounded like actual music.

I believe in ghosts, in the sense that I think they can come back seeking revenge or whatnot. Then they leave forever, satisfied. And yes, probably the spirits of those we love watch over us and even feel close to us at times.
As for aliens: I don't. Sorry, but just...no. Did you know that there is a one in one trillion trillion chance that there could be another planet like Earth (in other words, able to support life)? I learned this in a very interesting documentary called The Privileged Planet. You guys should watch it. It's good.
However, I think that aliens might be angels, mistaken for aliens.
Miracles and such: Yes. Yes. Yes. Big YES.
Magical creatures: Unicorns-Uh-huh. Dragons/sea serpents-Erm...well, I think they existed at one time or another. Easter Bunny/Tooth Fairy/Santa Claus-Well, admit it, don't you guys want to believe in them too? Any other magical creature--in the closet about it.

*Gasp* I saw that documentary too! Have you ever seen "Expelled: No intellegence allowed"?
I think that Dragons once did exist, but they were actually dinosaurs. I think what happened is, there were a few dinosaurs left after the flood, (because Noah took dinosaurs on the ark like everything else) and people killed them off, hence dragon stories. Although the Chinese people may have worshipped them.

Aliens: Since a trillion trillion isn't a number, I can't be entirely sure of its size, but I do know that the universe is vast, possibly even endless. Whatever the number, don't you think that there's probably a very good chance that there are more planets out there than that? I'm not trying to convince you of anything; I'm just stating my ownn beliefs.

At a planetarium in San Francisco I saw a really interesting video about how people are trying to find another planet that can support Human life, and that they found some that could eventually possibly be alright, but that they are so far away (none are in our Galaxy, they were talking about how horrible it would be if we destroyed Earth, because we would have to leave the Galaxy, and seeing as Humans haven't gone farther than the moon yet, we've still got quite a ways to go), it would be virtually impossible now. It would take YEARS, and I mean hundreds (or more) of years to be able to get there, so we need to make sure we don't ever need to.
I believe in life on other planet for the simple reason of us being far too small to need all this space, and the fact that there are living things so small and different from us that we have a hard time thinking of them as living at all, and it's EXTREMELY likely that there are such things (bacteria, for instance) on other planets, especially because the universe is so vast that there are things out there that we could never even imagine. One of the planets the people at the planetarium were talking about, actually has a surface of ice. Which of course means, there is water out there, and if there's water, why can't there be other Earth things as well.
Who's to say there's nothing out there, when, as I said, we can't even get past the moon, and all our 'pictures' of our Galaxy, are actually drawn, because we can't even get a robot out there.
Just something to think about, because even if we have no proof, even if all the odds were against it, there could be, and almost definitely is, life on other planets. And right now, all we can do is guess.

Yes, I believe in miracles, too. I forgot to mention that.

I don't believe in ghosts, sorry everyone! My friend L does, though. She said when we were in her bathroom doing our hair when the lights flickered that it was the ghosts in her house. haha She said that they're nice ghosts, and I was like "Isn't it just the lights giving out?" and she's like..."Oh...maybe..." haha And she also said that if she takes pictures on the stairwell when it's dark, you can see like weird whitish objects. I bet they just have a funny flash.

I only believe in ghosts on Halloween.

Aaah! The weirdest thing happened yesterday! I was sitting in class, and I was spacing out, thinking about something else and not listening, and then I felt somone tap on my shoulder. I looked in back of me, but no one was there! I started listening again, and then the teacher called on me! And if I hadn't felt the tap, I wouldn't have known the answer! It was so freaky!

I swear, I once saw the ghost of my dead cat.
