Ubbi Dubbi
Out of curiosity, does anyone else know how to speak Ubbi Dubbi?
If not, you add an ub before every vowel sound in a word. Ubit's vuberuby fubun! Plubease juboin mube! UbI rubecubentluby lubearned hubow tubo spubeak ubit wubell.
Suborruby, UbI'll stubop nubow. :D :D :D

I am not a fluent Ubi Dubbi speaker, but I know of the language and how it works. I'm sure you all know Pig Latin. (I'mway uresay ouyay allway owknay igPag atinLay.) Well, there's another one called Egg Latin, that my friend taught me. (Weggell, theggere's egganeggothegger eggone ceggalled Eggegg Leggteggin.) And finally, there's Gibberish. (Idigand, fidiginally, thidigere's Gidigibberish.) In Gibberish, you don't have to insert 'idig' in every syllable, but sometimes I do. So, do any of you know these three languages? Uboh yubes, Brubynne, muby frubeiend, trubied tubo tubeach mube Ubi Dubbi ubawhubile ubagubo, bubut ubI wubas nubot vuberuby gubood ubat ubit. (Oh yes, Brynne, my friend tried to teach me Ubi Dubbi awhile ago but I was not very good at it.) This was actually a different friend than the one that taught me Egg Latin.

There's also Abenglabish, where you insert an ab at the beginning of a word and before every syllable. Abit abis abreaablly abfun. AbI've abnevaber abheard abof abubabbi abdubabbi abbefabore, abthough.

I learned about Ubi Dubbi from Zoom! the TV show. If any of you watched it, they'd do songs and skits in Ubi Dubbi and it was pretty funny. If you go to Wikipedia and search any of the languages, they have really good articles.

Translation: I used to love that show, too. It makes no sense to me now, though. Like, wait, I actually spent all that time sitting around watching some kids playing games?
(March 28, 2010 - 7:10 pm)
Whoa, Zoom still plays???? That TV show is OLD!!!! I used to get it from the library. Unless of course this is something entirely different. Does it have an obnoxious theme song sung by all the kids that features the name 'zoom'?? And does it have that awful late '80s, early '90s coloring and style of dress???? Yech. I loved that show when I was little.
