Hi, I'm new.

Hi, I'm new. My name is Chloë R. I'm twelve years old and in seventh grade. I am an only child. I love to read, especially fantasy. And I Cricket magazine (DUH!). I also like to write poetry.

Favorites things:

Color: Blue
Food: Um, chocolate.
School subject: Reading. (I also like social studies and science, but I hate math.)
Animal: Cats (I have one! Her name is Emmy.).
Book: Harry Potter! They are the best!

That's all for now. I can't wait to post more on here. Cool Please comment! Would someone mind explaining how things work on here? I'm pretty clueless. Thanks!

Hi Choë! Welcome to the Chatterbox. I'm sure you'll you enjoy it here. I don't know how you did this, but I think we might be secret twins. I'm twelve, in seventh grade, my favorite color is blue, I like chocolate, I'm an only child, and I LOVE reading!! The only thing to add is that I play violin and piano. What specifically do you want to know about the Chatterbox? Once you get to know how it works on here, it's pretty easy. First off, the little box at the bottom of your screen that protects this site from spam can be known as Anti-spam guy (me), Andy Percy (Wolfgirl), ZAR (don't ask me, I've just seen it somewhere), Captcha (because that's what it calls itself), and so on and so forth. If there's one I've forgotten, you'll see it in someone's post when they're saying, "______ says, "vwha." As mine says right now. Okay, that's that. Subjects to avoid: religion, global warming, Jonas Brothers, Eragon. These are one's that cause shouting and angry posters and that's not good. And now for my salesperson spiel: If you have any questions, please feel free to contact myself or any of the wonderful Chatterboxers who will be pleased to help you. Welcome, Chloe (umlaut). I <3 your name... I'm sorry I can't spell it with the Umlaut Of Awesome (teh computerz is uncooperative, y'see). Do you pronounce it "klo-ee" or "shlo" or "clo"? I've heard it all ways.

Ooh, thank you, Leaf and ZNZ! That is very helpful. I write lots of kinds, but mostly not rhyming. Besides HP, um, I really like wizards, and just about anything with dragons.

Chloë, I'm not much good at rhyming either.  I used to think that in order to wrote poetry, you had to rhyme.  Now that I know that, I'm much more enthusiastic about writing poetry! :D
