HAPPY ST. PATRICK

HAPPY ST. PATRICK

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!! ♣♣♣♣♣♣

Happy St. Patrick's Day everybuggy!!! ♣♣♣♣♣♣♣♣<------Clovers (sorry that they're not four-leafed).

Did anyworm get pinched because they didn't where green? I hope not! I didn't:). I only learned about the whole pinching thing last year... So did anybuggy do anything special for St. Patrick's Day? We didn't really do anything special except our mama read us some stuff about St. Patrick. It was pretty cool. Did you know that he helped a lot with spreading Christianity? I hadn't really known anything about Patrick until today.

I really want to go to Ireland!! It's really pretty in pictures and I'm partly Irish on my mama's side. That's probably where I got my slightly orangish hair and freckles. Has anybuggy been to Ireland?? Admins??

Yes, I visited Ireland with my family a long time ago. I remember being in Dublin and riding in the countryside to see the Irish Sea. I remember  a flock of sheep blocking the road, but I think that was in Scotland.

Um, I wore green! Does that count? At our youth group we ate green food. Green pancakes and green eggs. And ham.

@Admin: Oh wow! You're so lucky! That's funny about the sheep. I wish stuff like that happened in America! (:

@ZNZ: How'd they get the eggs and ham green? Food coloring I'm guessing, I'm not sure.

No, no, the ham wasn't green! Just the eggs. And, yeah, food coloring.

I think I was sick on St. Patrick's Day, but my eyes are green, so I didn't have to wear green anyway. :)

My Aunt lives in Ireland, but I have not been there yet :(

I have known about the pinching for forever.

And yes I know the story of St. Patrick.

It was funny. I forgot completely that it was St. Patrick's Day, so I forgot to wear green, and my little brother came in and pinched me. Haha. I've known about the pinching for as long as I can remember. It's fun.

Last year we watched...oh what was it called..."Someone Someone and the Little People" or something like that, and it was about this guy who met the leprechaun king...it was really funny, I liked it a lot. And we played Irish music. I don't know why we didn't celebrate like that this year, maybe it's the moving, got everybody disoriented.

Andy P. C. says tuhv. Yes, Andy, it is tough, but not as tough as understanding your spelling. ;)

At my school (a Catholic private school, though I'm actually not Catholic), we got to wear a green shirt, and green socks and accessories.  So no, I didn't get pinched.  My mom's going to Ireland this June for a business trip and I'm really envious.  My friend Irish dances and is REALLY good!!!  Her teacher was born in Ireland.  And that's as far as my connection goes.  I just love how green everything is there!  It's amazing.  Oh wow, Admin.  That sounds like a fun trip.

Yes, traveling is a lot of fun. And I like the little towns and countryside better than the big cities.

Yes, I agree, Admin.  The little towns are better than the big cities.  When I went to Italy five years ago exactly (I was in Rome on my birthday which is coming up on Friday), I found that I enjoyed this little town named Manza (near Milan) better than Rome.  Yes, I did enjoy the big city, but I found the small community of the little town was better suited to me.  I was little and I named all the fountains (or as many as I could), shopped at this little grocery store called U!, and had a picnic on my hotel room bed with my dad.  I'm glad my mom can take me along sometimes when she goes on business trips. :D

I've got a lot of irish in me, in fact my last name is partly irish, and partly scottish!!!

So, anyway, for Saint Patty's day we always go to my Aunt Judy's for a big party with lots of traditional food, and everyone wears green, and she decorates like crazy!!! It's super fun!!!!!!!

I've never been to Ireland, but I might go this summer....... :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Wow!  I hope you get to go to Ireland... it's positively GORGEOUS.  (And the accent's mighty nice to listen to too!)
