Welcome!! I have a friend whose birthday is on March 5th as well. :) I'm Kendra, i have been on Chatterbox since it began but didn't really post. (which is why you old Chatterboxers wouldn't remember). I hope you don't find us too odd, and feel free to post whatever you like. We are open to new ideas (mostly, stay clear of Twilight :P ) If you have any questions i'm sure we'll do our best to answer.
A bit on me:
I love reading, writing, and rowing. I (think) am one of the few Chatterboxers that doesn't live in America. i read most of the posts, but don't comment a lot. Which is why it sometimes might appear that i'm not on much. Really i'm on at all times. I have recently returned to the Chatterbox, as i had been gone for a while. (personal reasons) But I'm back! I really hope you like it here and that you stay!
PS My grammar/spelling isn't the best, so please don't kill me. ;)

Your bday is special. ;) AiW comes out that day.
Anyhoo, welcome! You're our second 13yrold Allison from somewhere sunny. *gives cookies*

I don't kill people very often so don't worry Kendra!

Hahaha... That confused me for a second. So at the beginning, you just watched us talk and never commented?! Aww, you could've met so many other people, like Hannah M. *becomes sad* :( I miss her.

Hey Allison!! Welcome!!! I'm Laura, I've been on Chatterbox for a year and about two months.
I agree, with Kendra, ask us whatever you need to ask, and please don't be frightened if we get a little weird, we have, I'm afraid, seem to have a chased off some of the younger people. :D
But, anyway, we're aren't that weird!! We just have personality. And honestly, don't be afraid to ask questions, because believe me, unless you've been somewhere like this before, you're going to get lost pretty easily. :)
I like your idea, Kendra.
About me: I sing, paint, write, draw, and make paper cutout scenes. I live in California, and I turned sixteen in December. I love Cricket, and have been getting it since I grew out of Spider, and just recently got my first issue of Muse. I'm pretty quiet around strangers, and I'm getting over being majorly shy by taking singing lessons. I just recently wrote an article for the neighborhood newsletter, which is the most exciting thing that's ever happened to my writing. I am a bookworm, and most likely any time not spent singing or on here is spent reading. I used to check out thirty books at a time. I would probably have gotten more, but that was the limit on my card, so then I'd overflow onto my mom's library card. Lately, though, my reading has gotten a little slower, so I'm just taking it easy, and getting only a few books at a time. I think my record speed for reading, that I ever noted, was when I read The Magic Half in four hours.
I didn't start reading the Harry Potter books until the Fourth of July last year, and can't believe I waited so long. See, it's not that I thought they wouldn't be good, but I have a very low tolerance for scary things, so I waited until I was older. Well, then, because my whole family had been trying to get me to read them since they came out, I read the first one in secret, and surprised them all by saying "Guess what! I just read the first Harry Potter book!!!" Ahh, that was fun.
I'm homeschooled. I have been since about two weeks into fourth grade.
I have one brother, two cats and a rabbit. (cats: Jojo, my black kitten that I found in my dad's truck engine two years ago, and Casey, who we adopted when I was six) (bunny: Hazel, netherland dwarf, whom I've had since I was eight)
My parents built our house practically from scratch, though, they had to leave the front wall, because we live in a historical district, and they won't let you change the front. We lived in our garage for four years, and then moved back into our house, and are still working on it. We moved to the neighborhood when I had just turned four, and started the remodel a year later.
My dad invented a toy, and is an art teacher at the local JC.
My mom is also an artist, and she sometimes sells her work.
So, anyway, that's me!! It's nice to meet you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hehe. Yeah. I can't help but laugh when I remember tht time we chased off that one kid. she was sooo freaked out! What was her name again?
This was posted after my other one, and I just wanted to add that, like most people here, I like to read and write. My favorite book is The Book Thief or Pendragon series. I like the colors purple, orange, blue, and green. My favorite sports are soccer, volleyball, and basketball, and I tend to ramble on and on about my personal life...

Hahaha, not as much as me!!! Was her name Elena??? Or was that someone else.....

Today I am very mad at my siblings!! All except Lilly. (my twin) Aparently they wanted to pull a prank on Lilly and I so they set our alarm clock for 3:00 AM, and somehow made it look bright outside. ((dont ask me how they did it all I know is that they are pure evil genuises)) Anyway then my oldest brother Adam (who is not usually this mean) came in and said " wake up Allison and Lilly! Were late for school!" (we go to the same middle school) I am soo mad that I believed it!!!! So then Lilly and I got out of bed and about to get ready for another HORRIBLE day at school when my baby sister Alyssa jumped out and screamed "Haha we got you!" I was SO mad, but atleast we are starting homeschooling soon! (School is horrible when you always get made fun of) So my mom will be teaching 6 of us: Lilly, Alyssa, Adam, Tommy, Marina and I.
See ya soon!

You and I have a lot in common! I am already homeschooled, and have been my entire life. BTW, where do you live? Because if you live somewhere in Northern Colorado, you might be able to join my homeschool group, which meets in Windsor. So, if you live near there, we might be able to meet each other in person! Yay!

Hi!!! We already have an Allison, so don't get confused if you wonder why someone posted something in your name. But I'm assuming she'll be 14 soon...? And she's from Florida, too. Anyway, my dad's birthday is on the 5th, too! Happy almost birthday!

HEY!!! My real name is Robyn.... but please call me R~D~ becuz that is how I am known 'round here. ;) I have four siblings, five of us all together. I have an older sister, two younger brothers, and a two-year-old sister. I know, siblings can be a pain, but isn't it fun to have someone to constantly play with? I love big families, although sometimes they are really embarrassing. My birthday is in May, I'll be 14! 'Tis exciting, although so far away. Yours is closer! HAPPY almost BIRTHDAY!
