How many words can you think of that end in a "C"? Once you get past the easy ones (picnic) there aren't a ton.
And while we're on the subject, how many words can you think of that have a "J" in the middle?

Sac, picnic... Um... *decides to do this at a time other than 11:00 PM.
Ajar, adjointed, adjective, objective, conjecture, subjected, projected, projector, objecting... I'm realizing that I'm using everything with the word 'ject' in it, which is cheating since they come from the same root word and are too closely related. I really need to do this later, when I can think properly.

Picnic, sic, tic, chic, monochromatic, mic (as in microphone)...can't think of any more.
Talc? (short for talcum powder) And there should be several words ending in ic: anticlimatic, ecstatic, static . . .

Nice, ML! May I add: pic (for picture), relic, and, er, realistic. You're not a cheater -- there are hardly any words ending in "c" that aren't "ic".

Not the exact middle. You know what I mean. There are more of them than I could think of at that time, so it's actually probably not that hard to come up with a bunch of "J" words compared to "C" words. I'm not making sense again.
