She left long ago. She used to be on MB and we had a chess game, but she said that she "just got busy," but she evidently had time to find that thread, which had been created a while ago and hadn't been commented on recently. *snorts*

Um, it can get hard to post on 2 websites, at least for certain very strategic people. They can't just post randomly; they need a plan. A common one is to decide which forum is more important to you, post/read every single thing you want to on that one, and thengo on to the other. That was my strategy when I posted on another website (I put Cricket first, if you were wondering), but only because it's easier. It often means you practically disappear from one of them, although you may post quite often on another. Maybe that's what happened to her, but then she got so busythat she couldn't post anymore.
Or maybe she stopped enjoying the CB and MB, but she didn't want to offend us (not that we'd be offended—at least, I wouldn't—but she usually tended to be extra-careful about people's feelings, so maybe she'd just rather be safe than sorry even if it means lying, which I disagree with, but I understand, at least, and it makes sense), so she just said she didn't have time.
I really miss her, though. And she probably won't ever come back...
But anyway, all this is pure speculation. I could be wrong in every aspect whatsoever.
Mm, I miss her a lot. She was so sweet. Very thoughtful and sensitive. Always mindful of other people's feelings. I hope she didn't leave because she was upset. I hope she is very happy doing whatever she's doing now. :)
I know, I miss her too. She was very sweet and sensitive and always concerned with others' feelings. I wish she would come back, but I dunno that that's gonna happen. :-/ After all, as Ima said, it is hard to divide time between two forums. And she may have gotten busy, as Cara said. Either way, I miss her.

I miss her too, though she never knew me. I was reading the Chatterbox for a long time! (And I mean long!) She was sweet and thoughtful and.... *starts reminiscing* *sighs* :(Remember that welcome thread she made with all the points needed to fully understand Chatterbox? She made a link on every newcomer post to that thread and I thought I'd get it when I started posting, but she was long gone by then. And I ask myself WHY I never posted from the beginning. *sighs once again*

I am now probably counted as one of those who doesn't come on here very often any more. I have a lot going on in my life, and I don't usually even come on the computer very often. Somtimes it is sad, but I don't really know many people here anymore. I am affraid that one day I will come here and recognize no one. *snif*
On a different note, Laura, I think that I have at least been reading (maybe posting?) longer than you have been here.

I'm not surprised!! I keep thinking I've been here a long time, until I realize that a lot of the 'new' people, are actually old people who haven't come on in a while.... It makes me sad. I wish I was one of the originals.

Laura, pretty much since the Chatterbox was up, I started to read on and off. The last year or two, I'd been reading continuously and just this last summer, I started posting. First, I didn't know if my parents would let me and I didn't know what their rules were (posting name, place, etc.) and I couldn't come up with a good pseudonym. First I thought of 'sage' as a plant, but I thought it was too much like an old, wise man. I thought of Lavender, but then went out the window, too (I don't remember why). I was looking at my backyard while thinking of these names, in case you were wondering. But then Leaf on a tree sounded perfect and I started posting. I remember Lena, and BellaTrix and Kenzie from long ago and, oh what was her name.... *thinks hard* *thinks really hard* *headdesk*. Too bad, I can't remember her. She was a smiley buddy and her name started with a K. (You see, I just switched schools in the fall and I had to remember more like 70 names instead of 18 and so my head is more full and other names are getting pushed out. It's so annoying!!!). Wait, I know now!!! Kimberly! (Google cricket chatterbox smiley buddy and it should be the second link). In that post, Laura, you are new. I remember reading that thread and reading before that, so I guess I have been reading before you. *reminisces* *smiles* *dances around*
