I don't really think this counts as deep, but...

 

Has anyone noticed you can tell what minute it is on an analog clock just by chopping the hour number in half?

 

e.g, if the minute hand is on the 6, half of 6 is 3. 6 on an analog clock means 30.  Half of 3 is 1.5 which is 15... etc etc
