Chatterbox: Down to Earth
hey lizards i
hey lizards i generally mostly use this for creative stuff but i would like to note that
A: i am retiring the "Lord Entropy" moniker for the most part and going by LE or Elly on here from now on
and
B: I am experimenting with she/they pronouns if that's alright. it was they/them before but i have had a few personal revelations. im doing this a weird way: ive been using any pronouns with my friends and i am going to try to transition to full out they/them in that group while testing this new thing here.
that's it, name change, slight change in self-regard, no biggie :D
talk about music in the comments or something, this has been a big month

Cool, thanks for letting us know :) and an invitation to talk about music yesss... I love music >:D I have been surrounded by Christmas songs this whole day, and each year I am astounded by how many different Christmas songs there are... and they're good, too :D
also, I just saw a sloth and it was ADORABLE

i like that Sarah mclachlan Christmas album a lot. uh wintersong i think. it's a lil bit morose but it makes me feel all tingly
(November 25, 2024 - 8:42 pm)
:) great to know!
also just wanted to say that I've never really heard thanksgiving songs (or Halloween songs, either) on the radio. I've only ever heard christmas songs...

did you say to talk about music? :)
Carlos Baute just got out a new album and it's really good! it's less pop than his latest work, it's kind of a return to his older music and it's so pretty and happy, as usual. "Finde Contigo" is my favorite so far, but I haven't heard all of the songs yet.
I also discovered another lovely Latin pop song by somebody called Hugo Salazar - it's called "Donde Estare" and it's gorgeous :)

Hmm, music... Simon and Garfunkel are so poetic and autumnal, do you listen to them?
(November 28, 2024 - 3:44 pm)

I've been obsessed with "Teen Idle" by Marina as of late. And "j's lullaby" by Delaney Bailey. Also like the entire Rainbow Rocks soundtrack which is great.

Elly, that's so cool! And Periwinkle, I love Teen Idle! The vibe is so...idk how to explain it. It's like a happy beat and like sad lyrics...

(December 1, 2024 - 3:25 pm)

also I started reading the terminal a few days ago and it's really good. it might take me a while to catch-up but I already think it's fantastic
(November 29, 2024 - 4:03 pm)
ofc :3
NO WAY HOPE YOU LIKE IT UH
(November 30, 2024 - 9:15 am)
yay, i like the name :)
i will take this excuse to talk about music... i've been listening to a lot of Nana Grizol and Defiance, Ohio recently, and then i found out they share a band member! makes a lot of sense, they both scratch the same musical itch, per se. they're both considered folk punk, i think. @ZetaLupi, i like Simon & Garfunkel too!
also, i saw Hadestown last night!! it was amazing and i have "wait for me" stuck in my head right now... musicals are SO good live (as compared to just listening to the recording, or even a movie)
