Mine are pretty long too, I hate cutting them... it always hurts, because I have really thick nails, especially my thumbnails, so when I cut them, they pull at the sides, and... *shudder* ugh.  It hurts.  Plus, my fingers always slip on the cutters because I have to push so hard.  Even with sharp ones!!!  We had two pairs that made it a little easier, one was a little baby pair that had a loop on top to put your finger through, and that made it a lot better, and the other we wrapped grippy tape around, so it was anti-slip.  Not to mention they grow a mile a minute.  I usually have to have my mom cut them, and I have to not look because I always feel like the clippers will cut me.

Right now they have no polish.  A few of those little white bruises.  Not at all manicured, because I don't know the first thing about manicures....  Some are broken... most are cracked.  I use my nails for everything. 

My toenails are a mess.  Always have been.  They're healthy, but I'm always barefoot, and always stubbing them, so they get really chipped, and sometimes bleed, and are often ingrown from not cutting them.  The problem is though, when I do try to cut them, it's no good because they're so uneven from being smashed.  Heh. 

So, yah, that's my nails.  :D  Glad you asked?

Bitten kind of short. Unpainted. I have on occasion painted mine, but I always pick the paint off after about three days.

I guess mine are normal, but everyone's interpertation of "normal" is diffrent, so that dosen't say much. I can't stand nail polish on my nails. I get too impatient and blow on them and touch them so they look really vile, or I will let them dry normal but then I will pick at them, and besids that polish just bugs me, drives me insane more like. I think polish is pretty, but I don't like it on me..... My best friend does cool stuff on her nails.... ladybugs, watermelon, stars, jewels, stuff like that, relly neat, she did watermelon on my nails, it was cool....... didn't last long.

Slightly long (I need to cut them soon), with almost gone black/pink pollish. I painted them over Christmas with the paints my cousins got. I don't usually paint them though.

Mine are pretty long, and they currently just have a little bit of

chipped ice blue nail polish left on them... I need to re-paint them

I just clipped my nails today. My hands hurt from clipping. And my piano teacher doesn't like me to have long nails because you're supposed to play with your finger tips. Yeah, mine are pretty boring.

Hey, Hannah, why don't you try filing your nails if clipping makes your hands hurts? I have to keep mine short because I play violin, and that's what I do.

Now they are short and clean.  The only reason that they are clean is becasue there's no place for dirt to get under them.  That is how short.  My ring finger on my left hand looks like someone that I met *somewhere*.  Don't know where.  But only if the fingernail is short.  And my finger by my thumb on my left hand looks like Tom Felton, but only when it is short.  The one on my left hand, actually.  The other one looks like what's his name?  *thinks* Um...  the guy who played Charlie in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and he also played as one of the twins in the Spiderwick Chronicles movie.  Or he played both...  Or maybe he has a twin...  I don't know!  :D

Nothing's out of the ordinary with mine. They're medium length, unbitten (why do people bite their nails?), unpicked (why do people pick their nails?), and unpolished. I tried polishing when I was 4, and I hated it. It looked horrible as the polish came off, and remover smells horrible! I decided it wasn't worth it, so I just never polish them.

Oh, and there's a tiny bit of dirt under my left ring finger.  That's all.
