Women's soccer spoilers: ikr?!??? Like, on one hand... oof. :/ But on the other, GOLD!!!!!!!!!!! But also I really did not like that goal we scored---I sort of wish that the US had scored another goal after that, just because that goal we scored was TOTALLY offsides, right?!?? But it's fine... I mean, I can't be picky :) I totally wasn't expecting that to happen---it seemed so easy (the goal where Mallory Swanson just was like totally open and running), and Brazil was really pressing, but yayyy!!! Also it's so awesome that today was also Sophia Smith's birthday!!!!

Spoilers for artistic swimming: I saw the artistic swimming duets yesterday,, and there was one team that did a Charlie Chaplin themed routine! They had a really funny entrance, and they were making all sorts of amusing faces. Did you know that they have to keep their eyes open underwater? My favorite pairs were the ones from Ukraine, the ones from Israel (the aforementioned Charlie Chaplin duo), and the swimmers from China, who ended up winning gold. There were four sets of siblings: twins from Ukraine, two triplets from Austria, twins from the Netherlands, and twins from China.
