I think we've had threads like this in the past, but I haven't noticed one for a while...this is a space for queer & questioning CBers to ask questions about identity & stuff & hopefully get answers (though of course we are strangers on the internet, which means always take advice with a grain of salt) from other queer CBers. Because being queer is confusing! As always, you can post anonymously if you prefer. Ok cool I hope people use this thread bye

Perhaps biromantic sapphic? It sounds a lot like what you described. I'm not an expert so you could look it up for more detail.

Nice, I'm the first poster!
I think I might be aroace but I'm only 11; I've never understood romance or had a desire for a romantic relationship with anyone or even in general. I don't know if it is just my age or if it really is possible that I'm aroace. Sure I've felt loving feelings towards other people in my life but those are purely platonic.

in my opinion, i know a lot of people, specifically guys, who only just started feeling attraction at my age, about fourteen. so i think you may be aroace, or you maybe just haven't started feeling attraction yet! so maybe don't try to slap a label on yourself so early. it's okay to not know what you are, and at the age we are all at, everyone is trying to figure out their identity.
it's totally awesome to know exactly what your orientation or gender is right now--but sometimes it's better as a tween/teen to focus on other parts of your identity--like who am i? what fun traits do i have? how do i define myself? and maybe next year, you realize 'oh, i think i really am aroace' but right now, don't stress it! like i said earlier, you don't have to have it all figured it out by 11 :)
and of course, take my advice with a grain of salt--you know yourself and if you think you're aroace, then you have every right to say you are!

Of course! Crushes are super confusing and really, anything can happen. As you and other people change, how you feel about them is going to change too.
