does anyone else like sitcoms? i've been watching more lately and they're probably my favorite genre of tv show. i've mostly been watching community (i finished it a few weeks ago), scrubs (finished season 1 but haven't started season 2 yet) and friends (still on season 1). my favorite characters are probably troy and abed (community), dr. cox (scrubs), and chandler (friends). they're all so likable and hilarious though so i really love all the characters (excluding pierce from community, of course, but he's still funny despite being a terrible person. and he had some good moments, i.e. cooperative polygraphy) anyways what are some sitcoms you like, your favorite characters from them, etc? any thoughts?

Does Young Sheldon count? (Has anyone heard of that?)

As for that, my favorite characters are probably Tam and Pastor Jeff, and of course Sheldon. I think the Young sheldon makers were forced to create the character of tam, because in the original Big Bang Theory Tam is Sheldon's childhood friend, but they stopped using the Tam character after a while. The final season of young sheldon is coming out this year, but TWO spinoffs are planned!

woah, sine, i had no clue you like Young Sheldon! it's one of my favorite shows. i love tam too, but my favorite character has to be georgie or missy.

How far have you gotten? I've already finished the first three seasons, S4E1, and S4E3. S4E3 led me to a dream where I actually rode a bike (I can't ride a bike yet in real life)

I don't really watch sitcoms... my BFF likes The Office and Parks and Rec, though (yes, Parks and Rec has Chris Pratt in it... he plays Andy Dwyer). I asked my parents to see if I could watch Parks and Rec, but they said no, so that's sad...

My favorite sitcom of all time is Brooklyn 99, but I also watch Community, Abbott Elementary, Ghosts, The Goldbergs, and occasionally The Office
