Chatterbox: Down to Earth

name change      

hey everyone!! hope you're doing well. anyways, i've been thinking (always a dangerous pastime haha) and i think it's time for a name change. but before i announce it, some background. (if you don't want to read a whole lot, you can skip to the bottom, i won't be offended haha)

i've been CB for a while now. i joined a while ago (never actually kept track of when), i'm guessing somewhere around 2019 or 2020 as Lizardo. I loved lizards and drawing and fantasy books and i wanted to be an author when i grew up. I was in elementary school, and while remnants of that person are still here, i changed. a lot. after a few years of being Lizardo, i changed my name to fallen leaf. i think that was probably toward the end of elementary school for me. it was less of a personality change than i just didn't love the name as much anymore (plus for a long time i was pretty much known as "the lizard girl" at school and sort of wanted a different defining feature haha) but under the name fallen leaf i got interested in musical theatre. i started considering other career choices, like a stage actor. i went through the majority of middle school. i still liked fantasy books, but not as much. stuff changes. as of right now, in this school year alone, i've changed a ton. i've gotten way more into tv shows, especially sitcoms (i finished watching community last night!) and in general my personality has changed, i have a much smaller but i think better circle of friends, and i've become more confident in myself. i like myself now more than i ever have. so i think that it only makes sense to have a new name for a new person. 

i will now be called [drumroll...] Overmorrow! It's a word meaning the day after tomorrow. Thank you all so much for sticking with me through it all and for being such a wonderful community over the years that i can always trust to put a smile on my face. You're all amazing :] (also sorry again admins, that's two long posts in a row from me)
