Hey there! I’m Mashup. Don’t you dare ever call me “Mash” for short. Or do, and see what happens *shrugs*. Anyways, the name is still a work in progress so it doesn’t matter that much. I’m a friend of Scuttles. Scuttles has been trying to get me to join CB for several months now… and I’ve finally given in!
You can use any pronouns for me. I guess other people might describe me as gender apathetic, cassgender, or agender. You’ll likely hear me refer to myself with she/her or they/them pronouns, but I literally couldn't care less what pronouns you use for me or what gender you see me as. I’m also questioning aroace!
I like writing, and drawing, although I’m not as good as I’d like to be at either of them. I love to read, particularly fantasy and sci-fi. I program in Python and I’m learning JavaScript. I like cosplaying and roleplaying and can often be found dragging Scuttles into my far-fetched cosplay ideas. I generally enjoy doing ridiculous things and I’m proudly quite silly.
I have an (imaginary) pet ball python named Doodles, who doubles as my CAPTCHA, and is a friend of Scuttles’ Fluffles, of course. Doodles can often be seen wearing an orange bandana and sometimes a fedora.
I have one AE so far, named Timber, or Tim for short. Tim uses they/he pronouns. Tim is a friendly ghost. [] Hey there. I’m Tim. I speak like this. [] More about them later. They’re possibly open for shipping but they are, as I mentioned, a ghost, so shipping them would be complicated. I’m happy to talk more about Timber/introduce Timber to anybody who is interested.

Welcome aboard, Mashup! I'm Peri (she/her). I too enjoy writing and reading fantasy and sci-fi, and I like roleplaying though I don't do it often. I've always wanted to do a cosplay but I hate spending money and I don't really know… what I would do with it? Would I wear it somewhere? Also I have no knowledge about cosplay in general :/ but one day.
We've another CBer with a love for ball pythons! Have you met Darkvine? We've also got a few who enjoy coding, including Sinusoidal Polyglot (I think?).
I suspect you will enjoy Last to Post, the Writing Group thread, and that strange sci-fi thing the mysterious "s-s-stand by" created. Though I guess since you know Scuttles you don't really need any recommendations about where to go. These threads are just the vibe I got from you d:

What sort fantasy and sci-fic do you read? I really like Keeper of the lost cities, Wings of Fire, and anything that is by Rick Rioridan or Brandon Mull (Fantasy) and the Lunar Chronicals (sci-fic)

I love Wings of Fire and Rick Riordan's stuff. I've read some of the Lunar Chronicles---its one of those series I keep meaning to finish one of these days. I also like a lot of stuff by Brandon Sanderson, the Sunbearer Trials by Aiden Thomas, and Scuttles is currently coercing me into reading Wilderlore by Amanda Foody (I'm on the second book and so far I enjoy it). I've read KOTLC and it was one of my favorites when I was younger---i still like it but not as much.

You're free to ask whatever questions you like, whether I answer them is entirely another matter.
As for why I don't like being called Mash, partly I don't like how it sounds, partly because it's fun to make ominous threats about what will happen if somebody does call me Mash.
