hey! How've you been doing lately? It's cool you also like/play soccer—do you have a professional team you like? And Nordic Skiing?? That's so cool!! I only kind of know what it is but it looks really fun :D

I'm doing okay—pretty busy recently. I don't watch a lot of soccer beyond the world cup... Messi plays for Inter Miami, right? That's about all I know about them :P What position do you play? I used to do some basketball, swimming, volleyball, and tennis, but now mostly just soccer. High school season is starting in a week and I'm pretty excited! Practice is every day Monday-Friday though and I'm not sure if I can commit to that much time. I really hope I make varsity as welllll I'm kind of nervous for that. Are you homeschooled or do you go to regular school? If so, what grade?

Yeah Messi does play for Inter Miami. He's so good. Usually I'm not a Messi fan, but I've been watching him recently and the things he does are just insane. My season just ended so I'm waiting for winter pre season to start. It's soon so that's good. I'm kind of going stir crazy! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you making varsity! Best of luck. I go to public school and I'm in 8th grade. What about you? I guess if you're playing varsity you must be in high school but any specific grade? Homeschool? Right now I just got my script and I've been practicing. I got cast as Vivienne in my school's production of Legally Blonde Jr the musical. Ahhhhh! What other things do you like doing? Bye for now!

Yeah Messi is crazy—I don't watch him very often but I've seen some of the shots he's made and they're amazing. I'm going to miss my winter club season—I love the practices when it's so cold and dark :D although that's an unpopular opinion, I think. What's your favorite weather for soccer? And just in general? I got to a private school. I'm a freshman and high school is much better than middle school :) I hurt my knee at practice yesterday and it's not that bad but I think it might get worse :/ so I'm kind of nervous for school practice... oh WELL lol
That's cool you're in the musical!! I don't know the plot very well, but it seems interesting. Have you done any other musicals?
I like reading (fantasy and sci-fi all the wayyy), puzzles, board games, robotics, and plenty of other nerdy stuff :P What about you? And did you dress up for halloween at all/go trick or treating? How was it?

I love winter club season! It's just so fun! My favorite weather for soccer is probably 60 and cloudy. Or snowing. That's fun.
That's cool that you go to a private school! Do you like it? I'm sure high school is better. Middle schoolers are like toddlers. Especially the boys.
I'm sorry you hurt your knee! Injuries are never fun. I am pretty thankful that the worst injury I've gotten through soccer is a pretty bad sprained ankle.
Musicals are fun. I've done a bit of acting when I was younger but then I was so busy with sports that I had to stop.
Reading is the best. What CBer doesn't love reading? I love historical fiction and dystopian. Do you have a favorite book genre/series/author/everything?
I went trick or treating with my little brother and my parents. I put three costumes in a backpack because I couldn't decide and ended up being a ghostbuster. Nobody could even recognize what I was. Tragic Halloween. Anyway, what was your Halloween like?

you're lucky it snows where you live! I only get very cold and rainy, but no snow. It's been quite a few years since I've seen snow but that sounds so fun.
I like my school, yeah. It's a pretty nerdy, STEM-focused school and has a bunch of cool STEM electives I'm super excited to take. High school is definitely better than middle school but it takes some getting used to. In 8th grade I was the top of everyone but as a freshman I'm like the ignorant little kid again :) I have to admit, I'm still kind of a toddler at heart lol *cue nap time*
yeah I never have super bad injuries—just sprains and tears and pulls and they're usually fine to play on, they just keep coming back HOW RUDE D:<
FANTASY AND SCI-FI ALL THE WAY :D I think my two favorite books off the top of my head (such a hard question tho) would probably be To Say Nothing of the Dog by Connie Willis and The Rook by Daniel O'Malley. I'm not sure about favorite authors or more books—I could list so manyyyy... what about you? Favorite genres/authors/titles/etc...
I was a vacuum cleaner and my friend was a trash can :) we both made our own costumes out of cardboard and duct tape and various odds and ends. A lot of people figured out what he was but took a while to guess me. Still, I had a bunch of dirty vacuum-themed puns prepared (they really sucked!) and while I need to clean up my act, they really picked my day up and swept away some of my friends :D

Rainy isn't a very fun winter, in my opinion. I am also a toddler at heart! ;P
You're school sounds nice. I just transfered to a new school and it's already a lot better than my old one. School isn't always engaging but it's better this year.
Favorite genre, probably dystopian and historical fiction. Favorite author, oooh I don't really know. I really like books by Cassandra Clare. And favorite titles.... I don't really have favorites off the top of my head, but I read this really good book recently. It's called the Life and Crimes of Hoodie Rosen. It's about an Orthadox Jewish boy and anitsemitism in his community. I like books about Jewish people/by Jewish people because I'm Jewish and I never see much representation.
That's a really clever costume! Sounds super fun.
