Calling all CB historians for the CB History project!
CBHP will map out the entire history of CB, from Loren's first post on June 18, to the very present! If you are an aspiring historian, this is the perfect place to exercise your skills! Writers are also very welcome. Here is what will happen. We will do this in a four part journey:
1. The HISTORIANS will go dig back into the old threads in the years 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. They will compile a list of facts about each of those years.
2. The HISTORIANS will divide the history of CB into eras as well as illustrate the main points of each era in notes.
3. The WRITERS will compile the facts into a report about CB history.
4. A VOLUNTEER will post the CB history essay on the exact 15th anniversary of the CB.
And, without further ado, let CBHP#15 begin!

I was actually thinking about doing this myself! I have a little bit of research already (which I'll share in a future comment). I'll be either a historian or a writer (or a volunteer)!!
I do think that instead of a single essay or report, we could break it up into smaller segments on the same thread, like a guide -- that way it would be easier to read/reference, as well as easier on the Admins.
We could also do the history of specific CB trends (ski lodges, AEs, etc.)
I'm so glad you created this thread, Sine! This is a great idea, and I will DEFINITELY be taking part in this! :DD

YES! I'd love to be a part of this! I think it would be a good idea if we divided researchers into different years/topics so it can be more organized and people aren't covering the same things twice.

Ok Scuttles, can you research the period 2012-2015? I can shorten it to 2012-2014, 2012-2013, or even just 2012 if that is needed.

Ok! Darkvine, you are now assigned for researching THE EARLY PERIOD: 2008-2011. Please bring as much info as you can about the general vibe of the era, as well as major events and nomenclature conventions.

Sadly I am much too busy to work on either being a historian or a writer, although I would love to help in those categories. But! I still want to help, so volunteer it is!
