Chatterbox: Down to Earth
I did it.I
I did it.
I finally did it.
I told my parents about my sexuality and my girlfriend.
Surprisingly they didn't say anything about my girlfriend, but my dad is still trying to convince me to...not say I'm omni or whatever (spoiler alert, I'm not going to listen to him).
Although I did have to say it two times, cause I told my dad (in a super market ._.) first. So I had to tell my mom at home.
Now I feel lighter

Congratulations! Glad you're not letting your dad tell you who you are. Only you get to choose that. I hope he ends up coming around. Coming out is hard, so have a virtual cookie :D

aah that's awesome! I'm so proud of you! That takes a lot of courage <3
that sucks about your dad though, I'm sorry. :/ I don't really have that much advice, but if the issue is still that he thinks you're too young to know your sexuality, you can always say something about how people always assume kids are straight, or something? I don't know.
but again -- that's awesome, Reuby! :)

Congrats! As someone who had to go through a similar process (though instead, it was about telling my parents that I think I have mild autism) I know how much courage that takes. That you were able to muster it up twice is amazing! (personally, I had to go the route of telling my mom about it, then asking her to tell my dad) I hope you can talk to your dad and get him to stop the pressure...
