I'm so sorry, I didn't see this!! I'll write my reply later (because I'm on my iPad right now and typing long posts is very tedious).

I definitely still want to talk, and I'm sorry again for not seeing this!

Heyy!! It's good to see/read you again! Again, I'm so sorry about the late reply -- I didn't see you had responded. Hopefully we can still continue our conversation? :)

yay cursive 'f's! and I did not know that about the integral symbol (help what's the computer shortcut for that--) but that's really interesting~

I mostly drink tea for the taste because yeah the caffeine has no effect on me either! *tired thumbs up*

Yeah, I've read A Deadly Education! Only the first one (because my library and the entire library system as a whole, really, is not very great right now but anyway that's beside the point) but I liked it! It's not like my FAVORITE book or anything but I enjoyed it. And yes although I haven't read the second and third books, I totally agree, El should've been aroace!! there really isn't enough aroace rep in books >:( And the Doomsday Book! Yeah, I read that, and it was great! It was a lot of running around and not being able to get ahold of people and it was probably too long but I still really enjoyed it. I'm about halfway through To Say Nothing of the Dog, actually, and it's also very good so far :D

ooh those books all sound good! i must confess, I've never read lotr. when my sister and I were younger, my dad read the hobbit aloud to us, but that's pretty much it. i'll get around to it one day. probably. maybe. ANYWAY right now I'm reading To Say Nothing of the Dog, with A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab, the second and third Scholomance books, Lalani of the Distant Sea by Erin Entrada Kelly, and The Troubled Girls of Dragomir Academy by Anne Ursu next on my list.

whoa your Humanities teacher sounds awesome :D

yup I put spaces before and after my em dashes :)

so um how's your summer been? And what courses will you be taking in high school (assuming that you know now)?

again, I'm so sorry for the late reply!

Hi!! I don't have as much time any more—okay, hardly any—and I'm sure you're also very busy, so I'm sorry if I can't post as much or keep up as fast but I'll try my best to reply. No worries about the late reply—if anything, I'm worse :')

option + b on my computer, but idk about yours lol

yesss aroace rep where are youuu... The Doomsday Book was rather a lot of people running around trying to get a hold (ahold??) of each other (eachother?? :/), now that you mention it. I'd say I like To Say Nothing of the Dog better, but they're both good. I've never read A Darker Shade of Magic or The Troubled Girls of Dragomir Academy. Are they good? I think I had Lalani of the Distant Sea on my shelf for a while but I don't know if I ever got around to it.

nO how COULD you *le gasp* sPaCeS aRoUnD eM dAsHeS?? BARBARIC /hj

summer was pretty good! I did a few camps—I tried rowing for two weeks, which was fun, but blisters :/, and I went to a month-long sleepaway math camp that was super fun!! Ah, high school~ I'm taking English, History, Calculus, SOM (Science of Mind, basically emotions and mental health and stuff), DWI (Design with Engineering, basically power tools and prototyping!!), and Chemistry. Those are my required 9th grade classes. For language requirement, I'm taking Japanese. Then for my electives I'm taking a year of Physics, and a semester of Latin. Next semester I'll switch from latin to Macroeconomics. So far, I'd say Physics and Calc are most fun/interesting, but nothing's bad. In English we're reading The Odyssey and each class we read aloud for basically the whole time T_T It's kind of boring haha

What about you? How's high school? How are classes? How was your first day/when did you start? (my first day was okay but somebody dropped a box of doughnuts on my head by accident in assembly lol)
