Every two days, I'll post a new get-to-know-you-ish question. I think it'll be cool to see what people think and maybe it'll help get people to know each other better (hence, me calling it a get-to-know-you-ish question).
Question of the Two Days #1:
What word, to you, sounds like a magical spell and what would that spell do?
My answer is 'solander.' I think it'd provide a warm lighted sphere that follows the spellcaster.

One word answer: platypuses. Like, they just seem so UNREAL. They have fur? They lay eggs? They have webbed feet? Like what the heck! (Oops that wasn't a one word answer. it was a 21 word answer.)

Question of the Two Days #7: what's an illogical belief you'd defend with all your heart?
for me it's umbrellas and rain jackets. I constantly argue with my friends about my preference for getting wet over getting either an umbrella or a rain jacket wet. I know it makes no sense but there's something frustrating about carrying around a rustly wet bit of fabric and getting rained on and being damp seems so much nicer to me? I have no actual argument here though...

does anyone know the word 'yehudi'? It's a kind of lamp at the front of an airplane that raises the brightness of the airplane to match the outside brightness.
