Question of the
Chatterbox: Down to Earth
Question of the
Question of the Two Days
Every two days, I'll post a new get-to-know-you-ish question. I think it'll be cool to see what people think and maybe it'll help get people to know each other better (hence, me calling it a get-to-know-you-ish question).
Question of the Two Days #1:
What word, to you, sounds like a magical spell and what would that spell do?
My answer is 'solander.' I think it'd provide a warm lighted sphere that follows the spellcaster.

Responding to the previous question:
I did NOT like Gary Paulsen's books -- at ALL. I haven't read the Hatchet, but I read like four other books by him because I really did want to like his books they sounded so cool like wilderness survival stuff, but uggh. >:(
ALSO-
@Hex, nooo Narnia!!!! Everyone else already complained though, plus I've already told you I think, so I'll leave it at that :)
btw @Poinsettia I loveeee your interpretation of the growing older thing!! Thank you so much; I was so mad at C.S. Lewis for that, but now I think I understand :)
@Darkvine, NOO not my precious Kate DiCamillo!! D: :) Tiger Rising is literally like the only book of hers I haven't read lol. It's sitting on my shelf right now, just waiting. I'll read it as soon as I can though! But! The tale of Desperaux! Raymie Nightengale! Beverly, Right Here! Louisiana's Way Home! Because of Winn-Dixie! Flora and Ulysses! I will never forgive you! /light-hearted I was wondering what you didn't like though?
@Seadragon, nooo, not Blended and Out of My Mind (Ik, I'm just like getting mad at everybody, aren't I? :) )!! The only two books by Sharon M Draper I've read!! Honestly, it's been a while, so I don't remember the endings; I just wanted to type out my disbelief :) Blended has one of my favorite covers btw
@Rainbow, NOOOO, Narnia and the land of stories and Fahrenheit 451!!!! DDDD: :)
@Lyric, I WOULD say nooo Charles Dickens, but I've only read the shortened versions, so you are saved from my wrath. For now :)
I will get the cat drawing up later!

My main complaint is that it's near impossible to find citations in Great Expectations, right when you sorely need them
(April 24, 2024 - 8:43 pm)
@Celine, yeahh I was kinda vague wasn't I XP to clarify, I thought the book concepts and stories sounded pretty good, I just really didn't like the writing style.
and now, you will all witness how bad I am at drawing cats:

Ig this is sorta what I feel like atm. Daydreamy and sad and books and loving the world but alone :')
like everyone else, I can't really draw cats either, but bc the main character in my book is a cat, I go on mad rampages of trying periodically; and so I have LOTS of experience, if not talent :D

QotTD A.D. #7: what color are tuesdays?
definitely slate blue with a hint of bright yellow
(April 24, 2024 - 2:04 pm)
For me, purple. Mostly because I means I got through Monday. But also because Tuesdays are also very chill for me.
(April 24, 2024 - 4:04 pm)
Blue. Like a dark blue.
(April 24, 2024 - 5:36 pm)
I agree with Seadragon, all the cats are amazing :) As for Tuesdays, I'd say they're a particular shade of orange or light green (probably light green)
(April 24, 2024 - 7:53 pm)
Thou liest! Tuesdays are pure yellow or orange!
(April 24, 2024 - 8:50 pm)
