Easy Stickers

Easy Stickers

These stickers are really fun to make (and give!).

What you need:

Paper, with drawing's or photos that you wish to turn into stickers.

I big roll of clear tape, the stuff that's about two inches wide.

A sheet of wax paper

The Steps:

1. Cut out the picture that you want to make a sticker. It can be no wider than 1 3/4".

2. Cut one strip of tape off, enough to cover the picture, and lay it on the table with the non-adhesive side down.

3. Smoothly stick the picture face down onto the sticky part of the tape.

4. Cut another piece of tape the same size as the first.

5. Line it up with the first piece of tape and press it down, this time the adhesive side should still be upwards.

6. Try not to touch the adhesive side too much, and cut out the picture, so that there is a clear outline of at least an 1/8".

7. Stick the "sticker" onto the wax paper, it will be easy to peel off and use.

8. Complete these steps again with different pictures to make a whole sheet of stickers!

:) Oh, and by the way, since wax paper is so thin, it doesn't work too well as the sheet becuase it's too flimsy. Maybe if you somehow attached a sturdy piece of paper to the back it would work better... I'm not sure. Tell me if you have any ideas! :)

I'm baby - well, sister-sitting right noow.  I made a sticker for Autumn, and then she wanted to make stickers.  And then the same happened for LUna.  I'm happy that they would rather make  stickers than watch TV!  Thanks!  The TV was getting really annoying.  But I don't have any wax paper, so I'm using emergen-C packets instead...  Now the scissors broke.  Have to go help.  Bye!

Yes, I lioike emergen C.  I pour it onto my hand, then get my finger wet and press it onto the emergen C, and then it makes a cool sizzly sound.  :D

I just made a sticker!!!  At first, I didn't understand how to place the tape, but then I had my dad explain it and we made a sticker.  It's sitting right next to me.... and I'm really proud of it, even though I didn't do most of the work.  So thanks for the tutorial!!  What a great topic!

Cool! Ok so - if anyone discovers something better than wax paper, please post it! Because the wax paper doesn't work as well as I thought it did.

If you collect stickers like I do, there should always be a lot of empty sticker backing on hand. That would probably work.

I was bored the other day and I decided to make a cool powerpoint with lots of animation and stuff.  But I didn't have a topic.  So I chose: how to make a sticker. :) It actually turned out pretty well!  Also, I collect stickers, and I do have a lot of sticker backing.  I'll use that!

I am wearing a sticker on my forehead that simply says, "Everything is true.  Unless it's not."
