Dec 2022 Compliment Challenge thread!
I'm sure y'all have some idea of what a compliment thread is (basically post compliments about CBers you admire), we've had a bunch in the past; but can you win this compliment challenge?!?! The rules are as follows:
1.) Try to give at least 3 different compliments to each (+2 each, but the more in-depth the better! You might even get bonus points!!)
2.) Try to compliment at least 1 CBer who hasn't been mentioned yet (+3 each)
3.) Think of something great about the CBer who posted right before you, and post it (+3.)
4.) The maximum amount of CBers you can mention in one post is 10, and you cannot submit two or more entries in a row (keep a list elsewhere if you have any ideas in the meantime :) )
5.) This round of the challenge ends at 23:59 (11:59pm) on Dec 31, 2022
Feel free to ask if you have any questions about scoring or the rules!

This thread is a really cool idea, although I'm not entirely sure how this works, but whatever. I'm just going to do Jaybells, because xe posted before me and I'm not feeling ready for ten people...
...how does one begin a compliment?? oh well~
Jaybells! Your ideas are always so in-depth and well-thought out, they make me think below the obvious surface possibilities. They're always so original and really creative. You're also just really... 'real,' I guess. I feel like you say what you're thinking & share your actual experiences, which is hard sometimes online, but it makes way more meaningful posts. Also your poetry is amazing, it really draws the reader in and makes them think, because sometimes it ends sort of unfinished, but in a beautiful wondering way. I especially liked the poem about a star you wrote a while ago on the poetry thread, the one starting with "why/the little star thinks." It's so true.
So now I have +3 for complimenting the person before me? And +2 +2 +2 for complimenting three things for that person, and do I have +3 because Jaybells wasn't mentioned before? Or was xe mentioned before, because xe made this thread??

Yep! So that's (+2 +2 +2) for checkbox 1, (+3) for 2 and (+3) for 3! Plus you get a bonus point (+1!) for such detailed compliments! I haven't been complimented by anyone else yet, which would count as being 'mentioned' in this challenge, which is why you check box 2! <3<3<3

Hex! I think that you are a great person to talk to and you are understanding. You have a big imaganation, all the written pictures you've done can back me up on that! You are very encouraging, and supportive, if I am not mistaken. :) I enjoy chatting with you a lot, and I am glad to be your friend(?) Sorry that this isn't very long, But I had to post what I could.

Hawkstar! Even if I don't know you too well, you're pretty great at SIs. Yes, I do know I forgot to do your written picturing, so uh....I guess here it is!
A silhouette against the moon circles its prey hungrily. Talons ready to pounce on an ever-glowing star. Its eagle eyes trained fixedly on the ball of fire. Alas! The golden talons swipe the air. So much for trying to catch a star. The talons of the hawk clasp around another nearby star in fury. The star molds its way into the talon of the hawk that will never be able to leave. Thus, a new star is born anew in the sky: Hawkstar.
...Andddd I'm probably really really really bad at writing written picturings, but that's what I could think of...Also were you the one who did the written poems? I can't believe you were able to guess the story that my name is from!! That was pretty shocking. I think you got into my google drive account...
Well anyways, I wanted you to know that you're a great person, and I really hope you'll be queen of Last-to-Post land! For at least...3 posts. Let that be a challenge :)
Oh Jaybells I just realized that the round ends on the last day of the year... I really hope it stays up!

Rora! First of all I love the name Rora, which isn't really a compliment but I thought I'd mention it. Your writing is absolutely lovely, there's so much wonderful description and color to it. I also enjoy hearing about your AEs, they're so interesting and full of personality. Finally, I don't now you super well but you seem like a really sweet, creative person!

I suppose I could say those smiley faces could make up a slow-motion reaction? THANK YOU SO MUCH STERLING! I never really get around to finishing up my writing stories, but it's certainly nice to hear some compliments! And yes, I adore my AEs. I don't know how many points you got, but I really loved all those compliments and will treasure them forever.

Sterling! unfortunately I don't know you too well, but you've always seem really cool + creative too me. you're also great at writing, from what I've seen. & you kind of remind me of myself in some ways, if that isn't narcissistic. you've always seem to have this mystical, fantastical-y vibe, like you've brought a bit of a fantasy world along with you. glad you're a part of the CB :}
Luminescence! ok, i don't know you too well either (i think because our times of activity didn't coincide/at least not for long), but to be perfectly honest, I really admire you nonetheless. your poetry is so. freaking. beautiful. you can capture the world in such a lovely way, & you & all the beautiful writers on the RPT have been a large source of inspiration to me, poetry-wise & maybe even just as a person. because you always seem so kind & supportive to everyone, in a way I've always wished i could emulate. sorry if i'm gushing haha, but there you go; thanks for being here~
Hex! you're a really clever, sharp writer, from what I've seen, and I love your sense of humor. also, I may have been stalking your brainstorm thread w/ Jaybells + Flamarestii, & your world is so. cool. i'd love to see it come to fruition someday. Artemis! I love your art so, so much. It always seems to have been done with care and love. You seem so smart to me in so many ways - music, art, writing. You are a wonderful person to talk to and seem to me like someone who is going very far and will continue to go far. I'm sorry I'm not the greatest MaF partner - but I will say that you certainly are. Thank you for always bringing a smile to my face when you share your thoughts art, and writing.
