I don't know about you lizards, but I love my AEs and am really bad at commitment. So I don't really sign up for parties a lot. I still want to write with them, though! Hence this thread.

Here we can write about whatever they're doing when they aren't at parties, weather that be hanging out with their siblings, being their antisocial selves, going on dates (CB appropriate, ofc), or having adventures that have actual plots.

After this shows up, I'll post a link to the original thread by Viola? and an example of how this works :]]

I'm so sorry I'm taking so long to respond to the tempest and Ellerie walk/date!! I've been SUPER busy and I'll try to get to it this week! Probably on Monday since tomorrow is Christmas.

Callum

I've got a job at this coffee shop now, which I like - it's soothing to have a purpose, even if that purpose is  as trivial as making random strangers' lattes. It's not that busy, especially not on weekdays. In fact, Quinn is the most regular customer, and she only really comes to tease me. 

For Christmas, I got a bunch of great presents from Peri and the other AEs - a whole bunch of new songs to listen to from Quinn, the gold hoop earrings and bracelets I'm currently wearing from Peri, cookies from Chai, new low-tops from Indy. I don't mind my family too much, though Chai is a bit loud. Mostly, they leave me alone when I want to be alone. We are a family of introverts, mostly, though I guess Chai is extroverted and Quinn is ambiverted, being the more social of us. 

I've got one of my earbuds in, and it's blasting lofi. I do sometimes listen to more energetic tunes, but the coffee shop is a sort of peaceful place, not really for the louder songs I like. One of the regulars, this girl who always claims I got her order wrong, sits at her table and I bring her the mocha I know for a fact she ordered, prepared for her complaint.

"This isn't what I ordered," she says. She always says that. "I ordered a mocha."

"That is a mocha."

"No, not that kind of mocha-"

"What other kind of mocha is there?"

"You know, a mocha without espresso."

I stare at her, and she shrugs. "The customer is always-"

"Just drink the dang mocha, Carley," I snap, to which she sighs. "Alright." 

This is usually what happens when someone claims I got their order wrong. I never get orders wrong, so I remind them that I am better and smarter than them.

Yes, I think I do like my job quite a lot.

&It's cold out today. A very nice day for a walk with Mr Bob. Mr Bob is a slow dog, and he's getting older. So he can't chase squirles or other dogs anymore. So I get to listen to music while walking, and sometimes stop to take samples for songs when Mr Bob is sniffing things. I stopped at my favorite coffe shop, to grab a caramel latte. The cafe is pet friendly, and Mr Bob loves to trot around, saying hi to other customers.

Everyone loves Mr Bob. He doesn't shed, drool or bark. He's just a soft, big, fluffy dog. That I love very much. After I got my latte, I went down to the lake. I pulled my hood over my head, letting out a breath of air. Mr Bob stumbled up to me, a large stick in his mouth. I sighed, laughing a bit. "I can't throw that Mr Bob. It's too big." I grabbed his face and attempted to lob the stick away from me. I failed. Sighing again, I grabbed Mr Bob's leash coxing him along. "Let's go home Mr Bob." So Mr Bob and I went home...nothing exciting happened today...what about tommorow?!

/I went for a walk today in the pine woods behind the house. I just wanted to get away from everyone and have some alone time. I love Ariella and Stormi and Sapphire, but they can get a bit... wearing. They're so energetic, and so sociable, and so excitable. It sort of drains me to be with them./

Very short because I have to go now, but oh well!
