I don't know about you lizards, but I love my AEs and am really bad at commitment. So I don't really sign up for parties a lot. I still want to write with them, though! Hence this thread.
Here we can write about whatever they're doing when they aren't at parties, weather that be hanging out with their siblings, being their antisocial selves, going on dates (CB appropriate, ofc), or having adventures that have actual plots.
After this shows up, I'll post a link to the original thread by Viola? and an example of how this works :]]

/"Hi," I hear a beautiful voice. I turn to see Vir, looking as lovely as ever coming up to me. Her smile lights up her face, and I can't help but smile back. "So, how've you been, really?" I ask. "Fine, in general," she replied, still smiling. "We hosted the last MCU, and that was quite something... I went to Hawkstar's AE autumn party, too. I can't believe that it's already getting towards Christmas. And you? I know you said you've been doing great, but aside from that, how are things going with you?"/
/"Ugh, the AE autumn party. I would've come, if I'd known you were going. Daisy berated me to go weeks leading up to it... I just thought the chance was too slim. And yes, the last MCU. I read it! It was really good." I scratched my hair. "I haven't been to busy. Typhoon arrived a month or more ago, so I helped add on another room. but that's about it. Oh, we got our Christmas tree yesterday, so it's all nice and decorated in our living room."/
/Vir nods, and looks at my house. "So, what do you want to do?" she asked. I turn and look at my house./
/To begin with, the house was up in a HUGE oak tree. The house was sprawling, fiting into the tree branches and around the trunk like it belonged. Balconies were outside some rooms, and zip lines, bridges (rope or otherwise) conected a few of these balconies. Bottom of the trunk, there was a stair case wrapping around to the house, a ramp, as well as a slide (which was further out from the trunk) and a lift. The house had many windows, and a tower disappeard into the foliage was Hawkstar's quarters./
/Well, you certaintly couldn't call the house fancy or stylish, but it had a sense of fun to it, and with having so many AE's, especially since many of them enjoyed having fun, the house suited it's purpose. I only hoped Vir didn't see it as childish, or over imaginative./
/"Come on," I said, and took Vir's hand, leading her to the stairs. I gesured for her to go first, then a I followed her up and around the trunk. At the top, the stairs had led to a large porch, with table in the middle and chairs around it. We went around that, and I opened the solid, wooden door that led to the mud room. "You can take off your shoes, if you want," I said, slipping off mine./
/I then went through the short hall, then into our living room. It was rounded, with the christmas tree near the fire place, and the stockings on the mantle. A couch faced the fire place, and above it, a smaller, flat screened TV was perched. The window cutains were open, shedding light onto the smooth, bamboo floors, the coffee table in fron to the couch, the two armchairs on either side of it, and the rocking chair by the hall. A large carpet was in front of the couch. Off of the living room, there were two hallways. One, I knew, led to more of the house, but the one on the right far side of the room led to the dining/kitchen./
(Leaving this spot open if Vir wants to say anything but, ofc, it isn't like expected.)

I’m so sorry this is late :/ i had a fever for most of yesterday and didn’t feel like writing. i’m better now, so now all i have to worry about is all the schoolwork i missed yesterday! yay! :D /sar
so I was thinking Arum could go to Kaspar's house and then they could go snowshoeing from there? On the AE Dance Party thread Kaspar said he discovered a place in the woods and offered to show Arum--maybe they could go there? up to you :) Also, I'm sorry, I didn't know what your CB house looked like so lmk if I got any of the details wrong :)

|The snow’s lightly falling in feathery flurries, dusting the black knit hat Mirage made for me. The snow crunches beneath my feet—a pathway to the house has been shoveled out, but there’s still a layer of frost covering the ground.|
|I fidget with the zipper of my olive green jacket somewhat nervously. I’ve barely seen Kaspar since we danced at the ocean-themed dance party. I’d been so busy, but we finally found a time to get together. We’re going snowshoeing, which I’ve never done before, but it can’t be too hard, can it? It’s just like walking, but with bigger feet, or something. It sounds fun.|
|It’s not really the snowshoeing I’m looking forward to, though. I’m just so excited to finally see Kaspar again. I feel like he just understands me, in a way that Pangolin’s other AEs don’t.|
|I hesitate for just a moment when I reach the door. Then, ignoring the fluttering sensation in my stomach, I take a deep breath and knock.|

Yeah, that sounds great! I think it was a waterfall Kaspar had mentioned? It seems like a good place for a first date. Also, if you can believe it, I hadn't worked out a description of my CB house yet, so you didn't get any details wrong :)
Oh no, I'm so sorry you had a fever! It's totally ok that you didn't respond right away! I'm glad you're feeling better now :)
Anyway, Kaspar's POV (oh, and I'll include a description of the house below it):

\I nervously look around the living room, where I'm waiting for Arum. Through the window, I can see that it's snowing. I feel excited at the thought of snowshoeing again - especially with Arum. I already know how much she means to me, but I'm still not sure if in her mind I'm anything more than a friend. I'm just grateful tyhat we'll have this day together.\
\Then I hear someone knocking at the door.\
\I go into the small mudroom we have and open the door. And there, just as I had expected, is Arum, in an olive jacket, with snowflakes lightly clinging to her hair. I can feel a smile spreading over my face. Wow. I hadn't expected to be so happy to see Arum again.\
\"Hi!" I say quickly, not wanting to just stand there smiling happily at her like a complete idiot. "It's great to see you again! How've you been?" I reach for my coat before going outside, but realize that Arum might need a pair of snowshoes. "Um, do you have your own snowshoes?" I ask hastily. "I have an extra pair you can borrow, if you need to."\

Oh right, house description. I might change it up a bit later but I think this will do for now: it's a large elegant house out in the countryside, with creamy-colored walls and a brick path leading up to the door; the front yard usually has flowers, but since it's winter, it's currently just snow-covered. There are two Japanese maples in one corner, with a little bench underneath. One of the first-floor windows is round (it's the window of Ariella's bedroom) and the others are diamond-paned. There's also a small balcony. The front door opens into a mudroom, which is pretty messy (looking at you, Ariella) and has a closet for coats and hats. Beyond that is the living room, which has stairs leading up to the next floor, and the kitchen and dining room. There's also a hallway leading to the den and a storeroom.

|The front door opens into a small mudroom, and Kaspar stands there, a smile on his face. I can't help but grin back. It's so good to see him again. "Hi! It's great to see you again. How've you been?"|
|"Hey!" I respond. "I've been pretty good. Well, and pretty busy. A lot of Christmas prep, quite a bit of hiking and snowboarding..." I smile. "What've you been up to lately?"|
|Kaspar reaches for his coat, but then glances back at me. "Um, do you have your own pair of snowshoes? I have an extra pair you could borrow, if you need to."|
|I feel my face heat up. It feels silly to have agreed to go snowshoeing when I don't own a pair of snowshoes, but then again, Kaspar doesn't seem to see me as silly at all. "Oh, yeah, that--that would be great," I reply. "Thank you. So, you must go snowshoeing a lot, then?"|

^Justin says that he would have come to the autumn party if he'd known I was going to be there... I can never get over just how sweet he is. He also says he enjoyed the MCU, and tells me about Typhoon's arrival and the Christmas tree. I think of our own Christmas tree, and also, frankly, about how wonderful it would be to decorate a Chrismas tree with Justin... Maybe that will happen, someday. I hope so.^
^We both turn towards the house. It's incredible - I love it as soon as I really take it in. It's basically an enormous treehouse. I think, for a second, of Tarzan. Justin takes my hand and we walk over to the stairs leading upwards, my hand in the warmth of his. He lets me go first up the ladder, and catches up with me a moment later at the top. We enter the living room, which has an air of life and coziness and Christmas. I'm falling in love with the house almost as quickly as I fell in love with Justin. "This is an amazing place," I say with a little smile, glancing at the view through the windows - the sky and sunlight and, some way off, the ground. Thank goodness I'm not afraid of heights. I'm so happy. The world seems to be a different place, suddenly, from the world it was before Justin called.^

\Arum says she's been busy, which I can understand - Christmas is the busiest time of year for me - and asks what I've been doing lately. "Same as you, a lot of Christmas prep," I answer while I open the closet to get an extra pair of snowshoes. "I'm frankly terrible at deadlines, or at doing anything when it's supposed to be done, and I always leave everything for the last few days and end up scrambling... I've gotten almost everyone's presents, though, and I finally got around to helping Oriole string the electric lights through the Japanese maples outside, so everything's done! Oriole and Ariella took charge of the rest of the decorations," I add. I finally locate the snowshoes, sandwiched between an old sled and a coat of Stormi's that somehow fell down from its hanger. I put it back and stand up. I hand Arum the snowshoes and step outside alongside her, sitting down in the snow to put on my own pair. "Yeah, I've been snowshoeing for a while," I answer her. "It just... means a lot to me." I'm not quite sure I'm ready to talk about why exactly it's so meaningful to me, even though I know the reason clearly. For a moment a wave of sadness washes over me, but it's gone as quickly as it came. "It's really fun, too!" I add. "You know, exploring nature, getting exercise... I was thinking maybe we could head to that waterfall I mentioned to you a while back? It's not too far, and it's really pretty."\

/As much as I was dying to ask what the 'some other things' were, I could feel my cheeks heating up and so I quickly turned my head and went to the right hallway. "This way," I say. Once down that short hall, it opened up into the dining room, then past that was the kitchen./
/The kitchen was immaculate, as usual, thanks to the neat and tidy Chef Victor. He always kept the kitchen clean, so I was surprised to see some paper on the island in the middle of the kitchen. I picked it up and saw that it was a note from V himself. It was a list of different recipies me and Vir could chose from. I mentally thank V for making something for us, so we didn't have to go searching for recipies./
/"So," I turned to Vir, who was running her fingers over the smooth surface of the counter, "What is your favorite type of cookie? I like peanut butter chocolate chip the most, but here are several different recipies." I hand her V's note. I watch as her bright eyes scan the list, taking in her just being there. I had missed her, and I was glad I had invited her over./

#I'm very new to the CB, and I'm really enjoying it right now! But, it is a little bit lonely, so I've decided to
1. Pester WildWolf every day to get another AE asap
2. Join in a few AE activities such as this
