Snow!

i noticed that at least one CBer lives in a place with no snow. I, however, live in a place that gets half buried in snow once a year.

soo... just a weird thread for talking about snow-related stuff, i guess

I barely had any snow this winter, but we usually have tons. It was kind of weird and snow-less.

My winters have had less snow than usual too. *goes out and shakes her fist at the neighbors' fifty million cars* Climate change!!

I love snow! I live in a place where it doesn't snow (but we just had our first rain this fall, so I am in good spirits!). There are mountains about 5 hours maybe (it depends on the traffic, 3 on a really good day) away, and my brothers and I all did/do competitve ski racing. Yes, I know that sounds crazy. We have in fact driven to the mountains and back every weekend every winter I can remember. So I am very familiar with snow, because even though it doesn't snow where I live, the town that we race in is like a second home to me. I really wish I lived somewhere where it snowed though, and I will definitley live in a snowy town when I grow up (if I can).

Does anyone else here do ski racing? I am in U-14 Far West. It would be so cool if we were in the same league!
