Do you really care!  Does anybuggy here care about how old you are?  I know that every year it is a big thing how old you are!  I also realize  that 16 is a big thing, but will you be friends with someone only because they are in the same age group as you?  Well you shouldn't because then I would have no friends!  All of my friends are around 2 years older than me!(I skipped 2 grades so every one is older than me)  Anyway I am posting this becausse the new girl at my school won't even talk to me because she is 2 1/2 years older than me!

I know how you feel. I am not the oldest in my grade but it feels like I can't have any friends who are younger.  But I still do.

That's nasty of the girl who is older then you! I don't have the problem of people who are older than me not being nice to me, but I do have the problem of people taller than me being rude to me. I'm very short and small, so I get mistaken as younger then I am a lot. One time, somebody thought I was their 5-year-old granddaughter! (Although I am NOT that short, thank you very, very much!)

Don't pay attention to that girl. If she's that shallow

than there's no use in hanging around with her anyway.

I really don't care about age when it comes to friends.

I have friends both older and younger than me, and of

course some that are my age, too. I think it's normal

for kids to value their age, because nobody wants to be

the youngest, but people shouldn't be mean to you

about it. Just try to ignore the people like that and

focus on your friends. :)

One of my friends is a good five and a half years older than I am, and another is maybe four years younger than me. And one of my best friends overall is my grandmother, and she's definitely not in my age group. :D Snobbery to someone just because they're younger than you is rude and totally illogical. I'm sorry the girl at your school is rude to you - just don't turn that rudeness back on her, because then you're every bit as bad as she is. Act like you don't even notice her snobbery, and perhaps she'll get over it.
