Describe your best friend (or one of them )  My oldest friend is really, really kind.  She's the most helpful & responsible person I've ever met.  She's funny, she's strong, she's genius.  When I'm around her now, it's really awkward because, well, we're weird awkward confusing trying-to-fit-in early teenagers.

10. Your opinion on Cricket magazine :) It's great!  Honestly though, I like the Chatterbox more.

1. Favorite color: oh dear, I can never answer this satisfactorily. I like dark, dark purple, turqoise, sea-green, and pale sunrise-y orange.

2. Favorite sport: Soccer, utterly and absolutely. It is sooooo much fun to watch, like a TV series really; the players each have a different personality and set of characteristics, so they become like old friends after you've watched them for a while :) Plus, they've inspired a lot of my characters, like Swaine in the prologue of my solo write is completely modeled on the goalie for the English national team.

3. Favorite season: Spring or fall.

4. Dream occupation: Screenwriting!

5. LEAST favorite book/book series: Bleak House by Dickens is one of my least favorites because it is so boring and dreary. I also utterly hate Dracula, which I think I read a simplified version of once. As for series, one of my least favorites is Cat Warriors, because it's just so dark and violent, with all these cat clans fighting each other out of selfishness instead of having a desire to be nice and cooperate. If the other clans are being unfair to them, so what??? I think it's better to be nonviolent, even if you have to suffer for it, than to hurt others (except in extreme cases ofc, like if you're going to die immediately).

6. Current movie your obsessed with: While You Were Sleeping, a fun and happy romance movie... and do TV series count? Because if they do, then definitely All Creatures Great & Small (the new version).

7. Memory with a friend that you'll never forget: the time I had a playdate with my primary-school best friend and just basically had the time of my life

8. LEAST favorite food: Raw spinach. I hate raw spinach.

9. Describe your best friend (or one of them ): She's really sweet, funny, and amazing at drawing. Some of her art just blows me away. And she and I enjoy a lot of the same things, like reading.

10. Your opinion on Cricket magazine :): It's super good! The stories are a little simple for my age range... but I absolutely adore how it's so sweet and kid-friendly, which is very rare nowadays, and I always love the Letterbox, Cricket Readers Recommend, the Old Cricket Says page (I love how it's always about something new and interesting that I'd never really thought about before), and the bugs' funny comments and comics. I super appreciate Cricket :)

11. Most expensive/ special item you own: Hmm, I've never really thought about the items I own. I have some really pretty necklaces and bracelets, so I guess those count. And I have a gorgeous box that my grandparents gave me, made out of a special kind of wood that smells like lemon... idk how expensive it is but I treasure it :) Oh, and also a small leather wallet from Italy, which is unbelievably soft. And these aren't really expensive, but I have several natural objects; bits of bark, shells, rocks, flowers... I really treasure them as keepsakes from places I've been to, like state parks or beaches.

12. Favorite item of clothing you own: My long-sleeved magenta purple top; it has a V-neck that just really suits my face, and the cut is very flattering to me. Oh, and there's also this gorgeous evening dress that my aunt passed down to me, kind of maroon-reddish color, with a slim cut and about knee-length; I've never had a chance to wear it, but I really want to.

13. Work of Art you're proud of: A picture I drew of a horse. It's one of the most realistic things I've ever done; I love the coloring and the proportions and the shading and the look in the horse's eye... it just came out so prettyyyyy and I love it so much.

14. Favorite place you've traveled: the beaches I've been to in Mexico. I miss them so much :'( Other than that, I really enjoyed being in Portugal even though I was only there for a little over a week. It has the most gorgeous little towns, as well as large, old, fascinating cities. And it has really good food, beautiful countryside, and a lovely un-touristy feeling (or maybe that's just cause I went when it wasn't tourist season).
