I've just been shopping because I really needed a couple more summer tops. It was nice to look at all the gorgeous tops that turned up, but also a little depressing. I find a shirt whose color, style, cut, neckline, everything, are perfect. I think, "This is the one!" Then something about its sheen makes me suspicious. I check the label... and it's 100% polyester.

Polyester!! In summer!! I already have one T-shirt that's part cotton and part polyester, and it's pretty warm - I would melt in a little puddle if I wore something that was pure synthetic fiber. Besides, it's really bad for the environment.

On the other hand, even if I didn't end up buying any of them, it was nice to look at the clothes, since they were so pretty and there were so many different styles. And there's something about clothes that really catches my imagination. I see an elegant halter top and instantly imagine myself wearing it at a party. Or I see a casual but still pretty sweatshirt and imagine a potential main character's big sister wearing it at a high school football game with her boyfriend, and from there I imagine her personality, and... yeah, my imagination is very active right now XD
