Hi @Phoenix Tears
Hi @Phoenix Tears
This is the group four thread. I'm excited to talk!
What kinds of music do you like, and what are your favorite bands/orchestras? My favorite bands are Yes and Weezer. Yes is a really popular band that just released an album(The Quest) on October 1st! I listned to all the songs within the month. As for Weezer, it's another popular band created in 1992, I think? in Los Angeles, CA. One of my favorite songs by Weezer is My name is Jonas, from the album Weezer. Did you know that in 2017, Yes was inducted into the Rock 'n' roll hall of fame, by the band Rush?

Hi GoldenLionTamarin! Can I call you GLT? Or another shortened version of your name?
My favorite types of music are sixties & seventies rock, musicals, and anything played on the piano. I've heard some Weezer songs on the radio before. I'll listen to some of their music later.
How does one get inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll hall of fame? Is it like have the most popular songs, or the biggest impact on society, or...?
My favorite songs are Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd and Speechless by Alan Menken and co.
Do you play an instrument?

I think the Rock 'n' roll hall of fame inductees are based on nominations and/or popular vote. Unfortunately Rush ended in January 2020 due to the death of their drummer, also in January 2020.
I completely know and love "Another Brick in the Wall"! My favorite part is at the end, when the teacher in the background is yelling, "If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding!!! How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?!?"
Yes, I do play an intsrument. Actually, I play three (keyboard, guitar, ukulele), four if you count the kazoo. I've also been studying the drums.
Another good Weezer song I've heard since is Island in the Sun. Also, it is completely fine to call me GLT, it's the first nickname I got on CB.
Did you know that there is a really cool museum in Carlsbad, CA (I don't live in Carlsbad, Admins. I think it should be fine to post) called Museum of Making Music, or MoMM for short? It's super cool, I just visited it today (Again, I do not live in Carlsbad. It took me a while to get there).
I love sixties and seventies rock, since that includes The Beatles and Yes (early, early Yes). Fun fact--Yes was created in 1968, and The Beatles in 1952.
Here is a list of my top 3 favorite songs:
1. Island in the Sun by Weezer
2. Free by Charlie Puth
3. Help! by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr (AKA The Beatles)
Signing off!
Regards,

Hey GLT!
I play the piano, or more technically the spinet, which is a small piano. I kind of play the flute and the harmonica, but not very well. I would totally count the kazoo if I were you.
What's your favorite class in school? Mine is Science, though currently we're doing a not-very-interesting unit on populations and ecosystems. :(

Wow, my favorite class is also science!
By the way my list of favorite songs keep changing. Now the top song is "Owner of A Lonely Heart" by Yes
