We just heard

We just heard that a little girl I babysat Saturday night has swine flu. I don't care so much - if I get it, I'm really not in much danger - but her mom is pregnant, and, for some reason, pregnant ladies have a high death rate from swine flu. The Jones could use your prayers right now!

Oh, that's awful, Emily. I have a friend that got it, too. He is doing fine, and I hope the little girl gets better.

I'm sure she'll come out in the wash -- you couldn't keep that kid still for two minutes with seven yards of heavy-duty rope and a gallon of gorilla glue, let alone trying with a virus. Ironically, her name is Emily too, so I'm Big Emily (not exactly complimentary :D) but that's repaid by the fact that all the little kids at our church call my brother is Big Emily's Big Brother. Sounds like a wrestler. *announcer voice* "And now, here's Biiiiiiiigggg Emily's.... Biiiiiiiiigggg Brother!!" *crowd bursts into wild cheers* Anywho, I am sure she'll be fine. It's mostly her mother I'm concerned about.

Well, her mother should know to call the doctor right away if she has any symptoms. Then I think she should be fine.

Right, Admin. Besides, Little Emily's case is a mild one, so chances are good it will all blow over.
