Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Advice?

Hello everyone!

I'm MountainSpirit. I haven't posted in a long time as things have been pretty crazy for me lately. School started for me last week and it's been pretty rough so far, but it looks like things are getting better. I was reading posts on the CB the other day and it cheered me up so much. I remembered how much I love this place!

Anyway... So when school started this year most of my friends were ignoring me. I started sitting with this new kid at lunch and I enjoy their company. The problem is, I just reconnected with someone else whom I was really good friends with last year. I'd really like to sit with my old friend because I miss them, but I don't want to abandon the new kid, since they don't know anyone else. The new kid refuses to sit with anyone other than me, so I don't know what to do. Does anyone have any advice?
