Got the COVID vaccine!
I just got my first shot!! Has anyone else gotten the vaccine, or is planning on it? It only just got approved for 12-15 year olds (the pfizer one).
My arm is not that sore, but who knows, maybe it will get more sore soon...
It feels good to feel like there might be an end to this whole mask, six-feet-apart and quarantine thing!!!!

I'm not getting the shot. I'm happy that all of you are though! I feel like we are begining to get back to normal! It's so exciting to see masking restrictions lifted. We don't have to wear our masks in church or school anymore and it is SO amazing to really seee people's smiles again.

Yay!! I'm getting my second shot on Wednesday. I got super lucky and got an appointment on the first day it was available. :)

I'm getting my second soon! It was scheduled for the tenth but we had a conflict so I don't know when it's going to be now. It's funny (omg calendar just popped up and said that it's for the tenth just later in the day lol) how everyone wants to go to school and get a shot and everything XP

4/5 of the people in my class who got their shots yesterday didn't feel well and had to go home/didn't come to school in the first place today. :/ I'm still super excited, though! Fortunately, I'm getting mine next Saturday.

I got my second shot yesterday...
So here are my side effects:
Fever
Sore arm
Sore neck (although maybe that's completely unrelated? I have no idea. I could have just slept on it funny or something)
Congested (I just feel like I have a cold and I can currently only breathe through one nostril lol)
And I'm also really shaky! And jittery! I couldn't keep still last night. I kept on feeling like I had to point my toes and tense my hands, for some reason.
I can't go to school today (so I'm just gonna do it virtually in the afternoon) because they check your tempurature and I have a fever. And I also can't really go to school because every time I stand up I feel dizzy.
Crossing my fingers this will be over soon--I'm in bed right now, binge watching The Fresh Prince. And congrats to all the people who got their shot(s)!! So exciting!

Yikes! I had a bit of a headache and was tired but luckily I didn't have any severe side effects, hope you feel better!

I got my second shot yesterday! I am not feeling too bad, just really tired and kind of slugish, but I don't have a fever or anything sever. I'd say that's a good price to pay though for being vaccinated! I can't wait to start doing things again!

I just got my second dose a couple hours ago!! Hopefully my side effects won't be too bad, as I have to work tomorrow, but I'm so excited I got it! My brother didn't have any side effects after the second shot, so hopefully I'll be the same... *crosses fingers*

I got my second shot yesterday! I have a slight headache but it's not bad.
I'm excited that in two weeks I'll be fully vaccinated and will be able to do things again. The rest of my family is older so they're already fully vaccinated. We're planning on going out to eat to celebrate. It will also be nice to be able to go to church in person again instead of virtually!

Ugh, y'all making me sad that I'm 10! Hopefully August-September for me. I'm 11 in July, but still. Great that all of you guys are getting the shot!

Well, thanks for all the well wishes! I was SUPER SUPER SUPER sick that day, like there were times where I couldn't get out of my bed to use the bathroom!!! But I felt 85% better the next day, and now I'm totally fine. I guess my immune system is working!!
