Hi! I'm Viola?, and my pronouns are she/they. I'm not technically a current CBer anymore; I think I was on the CB from the summer of 2017 until early 2020, when I sort of faded off. Some of you still know me and my art, though, which I have to admit is cool. Let's see. I've got two parents, four grandparents, two brothers and a very excellent cat named Kokomo. My twin and my dad are into classical music, which has rubbed off on me a little--I highly recommend Winter by Vivaldi, Bach Cello Suite No. 1 and the 3 Gymnopédies by Erik Satie. Lately I've been listening to a number of playlists by oliviaalee. I keep track of specific songs more than artists or genres, and I don't like picking favorites, but for a long list of favored artists: Guy Klucevsek, the Decemberists, Florence + the Machine, in love with a ghost, Walk Off the Earth, Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass, Sidney Gish, and the Alan Parsons Project. I really like plants, art and D&D. Also Overly Sarcastic Productions. I live in a small town in New York with a forest full of hiking trails at the end of my street. I'm pretty much incapable of doing nothing, but that doesn't necessarily mean I can get my homework done on time. Spring is my favorite season. I can't really handle spicy food. I don't believe in the concept of objective truth. AtLA, The Secret of Kells and Studio Ghibli are all amazing. I think this post is more than long enough, lol.

Hello lovelies! I'm Luna, 13, and trying out she/they pronouns. At this point my biggest hobby is procrastinating, which I like to do by listening to music, terrorizing Discord & Nano, watching Youtube, and thinking existential thoughts. Pre-covid I was in band, chorus, Scholastic Bowl, Kiwanis, and young authors. I also do voice lessons and I'm part of Venture Crew- a sort of branch of BSA that's smaller, co-ed, and has less emphasis on advancements. I'm in 8th grade and I go to a small school. Some of my favorite books are Lord of the Rings, the Aurora Cycle, A Northern Light, Ms. Bixby's Last Day, and I've recently been getting into the Grisheverse. Also, I am an icon. That's about it. :)

I'm Peregrine, after the falcon.  I joined a little over a year ago in the beginning of quarantine.  I stayed extremely activve for several months after that, then normally active for several other months, and now I mostly ghost; due to time, motivation, and interest.

My passions include violin, music, birds of prey, day-dreaming (I'd like to learn how to lucid dream too), aikido (a Japanese martial art), reading, writing, solving math problems, spending time outdoors, and loving my Beshon/terrior mix dog. 

I have been playing violin for years and I can't even think about living without it.  It makes me nervous, scared even, to think about not playing.  But despite this I don't think I want it as a career. I play mostly classical and sometimes a little fiddle/folk/bluegrass.  My favorite peices tend to be slower and contemplative (Spiegel im Spiegel by Arvo Part, Mercy by Max Richter, and Sonata No. 4 in D Major, 3rd mvt. Larghetto by Handel), and I am very partial to solo Bach (particularly when played by Hilary Hahn).  I have been very lucky to have been to live concerts played by Hilary Hahn, Joshua Bell, and Itzhak Perlman.  Pre-COVID I played in my local youth orchestra, a trio consisting of my sister and a friend, and attended a summer institute I have been going to since I can remember.

Birds of prey have fasinated me for a very long time, I believe I owe this partly to my grandfather who always told us of the raptors that he saw around his town.  A couple days ago I say two bald eagles and two hawks all soaring together.  I was very suprised to see such peaceful behavior until I saw a hawk dive bomb an eagle a couple times.  Not so peaceful after all.  I dream of becoming a falconer.

My favorite books are the Swallows and Amazons series, Lord of the Rings, the Earthsea trilogies, and so many more.  I read prolifically and am always trying to find new books.  I enjoy reading a well written non-fiction book also.  History facinates me when it is presented well.  My family recently finished Laura Hillenbrand's Unbroken (the young adult version), the writing was okay but the story was captivating.  It is amazing what a human can go through with the right mindset.

I am fairly good at finishing short stories but not so great at finishing long ones.  Currently I am working on three fantasy stories.  I like writing short stories because I enjoy the challenge of explaining things in depth to the reader in a short period of time.  Also because I like the glimpses a short story gives you into others' lives.  I journal frequently, dabble in poetry, and corespond with friends both through mail and email.

I like math because of the challenge it gives me as well as the satisfying feeling of solving a tricky problem.

I love backpacking, camping, sailing, and canoing.  My family has two small dinghies that need new rigging and paint before they can be sailed again, but I am looking forward to that time.

Hi! I'm Quill, my pronouns are she/they and I'm bi. I'm 16 and I joined the CB in May of 2017. I love reading, writing, art, theatre, singing, baking, gardening, knitting, needlepoint, and many other things! My favorite books are Ranger's Apprentice, Harry Potter, Septimus Heap, Fablehaven, Artemis Fowl, Percy Jackson, and Little Women. I've been writing ever since I can remember, it's always been what I've wanted to do. I actually just finished my first book! It needs some editing, but it's done. I love music--my favorite bands are Fun, Panic! at the Disco, and They Might Be Giants, along with anything Averno. I've also been getting into podcasts recently. I've been acting since fourth grade, and I really love it. I've been in a lot of shows, and I'm currently in my school's production of Anything Goes. My favorite musicals are Les Mis, Come From Away, Willow, Over and Out, and probably several that I'm forgetting. I have two younger sisters and many pets--we have three dogs, two birds, two rats, a bearded dragon, a fish, thirteen chickens, and two ducks. I love big words and flowers, especially dandelions. My favorite color is yellow! My favorite movie is The Princess Bride, and I also love Marvel--my favorite Marvel movie is Spiderman (with Tobey Maguire, the best spiderman) and my favorite MCU movie is probably Captain Marvel, The First Avenger, or Guardians of the Galaxy. I also love the CB! It's such a loving and creative place, and it (along with all of you) means so much to me.

I go by she/her pronouns, and I can't tell my actual appearance, 'cause my parents won't let me, LOL.

My parents won't let me have a phone, won't let me choose my own clothin', which stinks, 'cause I REALLY want some ripped jeans shorts for this summer, but they ARE lettin' me save up for a Nintendo Switch Lite with Zelda: Breath Of The Wild, Mario: Odessey, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

I have cats, and a VERY annoying dog named Fuji. Fuji drools all over the floor after she takes a drink of water, stands up when I'm walkin' over her and tries to trip me, and my parents ALWAYS blame me when FUJI'S the one that does things wrong.

I have had at least 14 crushes. I will not name all of 'em, but I currently am bein' stretched thin between Devan K., and Mike Nesmith from The Monkees.

I also have written stories, and you can find my most recent one on the CB, and I JUST added the second part of the first chapter, and the second chapter part one. (@Admins, could you plzzzzz put the link to it here?)

I also play Minecraft and listen to songs by Kidz Bop, and The Monkees, along with Christmas music when it's not even Christmas, LOL, and Rascal Flatts.
