Quote Of The Day!

I journal every day, and I always give myself a quote of the day for the next day when I do. I think it's great because you can focus on that quote throughout the day, and then the next day, you can look back and think about how you applied the quote to real life!

For instance, yesterday my quote of the day was "If your dreams don't scare you, they aren't big enough," and I used the quote when I was setting my word count goal for this coming camp NaNoWriMo in April! I'm terrified, but I'm going to try to write 30,000 words (I don't actually know if that's a lot, but it is for me!) for the novel I'm writing. I reminded myself that it's okay to be scared of your dreams, and I went for it!

Today's quote of the day is:

"Happiness is an inside job. Don't assign anyone else that much power over your life."

So, if you want, you can think about that quote and try to apply it to yourself today!!
