Wisconson is actually a pretty cool place, Bekah. I hope you get to like it soon. Do stay in touch with your friends at home, though - pen pals, email pals, phone pals, Facebook - anything so that they don't just fade out of your life.

Awww, Bekah, I'm sorry you're not excited!!! :(:( But I'm sure you'll like Wisconsin, and you'll make lots of friends!! :) But, yeah, do keep in touch with your ND friends by e-mail, mail, Facebook, or anything. I may have to move, too, so don't feel bad...

We're not sure, and we may not have to, but you know how my dad's been unemployed for about 1 1/2 years now??? Well, since then, he's been looking for jobs in Maine, and there's ABSOLOUTLY nothing out there, and I'm serious!! He's applied for everything, and only got a call/e-mail in response twice. Only had one interview, and that was for a management position in the hunting department at a Cabela's. (in a way, I'm glad he didn't get that job!!!) :) Anyway, he's starting to look for jobs outside of Maine, and there's a couple more choices. My parents signed my brother up for this program before he was born called the Florida Pre-Paid College Program, where they pay $50 a month, and, by the time he graduates, they'll have paid for him to go to college in FL for four years, plus two years in a dorm. But the only problem is, we have to establish another year of residency in FL for him to be able to go to college. And another problem is that he does NOT want to go to school in FL. But I, on the other hand, love Florida, and it's my most favoritest place in the world! :D The program is transferrable to siblings, so if we establish a year of residency in FL before I'm ready to go to college, then I can use it! :D So really, we'll probably move to FL within the next four or five years, but probably sooner. Or maybe Colorado. My dad likes Colorado. :):):) I actually think it would be kinda exciting to move! I've lived here all my life, and my mom said they could send me back to ME every summer for my camp, and I'll see all my friends and "friends" there, because everybuggy I know goes there. :):) I guess, in a way, I want to move! :)

You know, you could tell them how nice Santa Rosa is... we have one of the top Junior Collages in the US, and it's a nice place... do your parent's like wine???? There's LOTS of wine here!! We could even take them on a wine tour, even though we don't know a thing about wine (don't tell them we're making it up)
Have they ever seen a vineyard? Do they like 'em? There's MILLIONS around here! MILLIONS!!!!!

Wisconsin? OOO! Come visit me in MN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My friend goes to Wisconsin Dells every year (I think) you know, so if you're in Wisconsin Dells, COOL!!!!! Is Hudson in Wisconsin? I go there a few times a year! Hope you enjoy Wisconsin!
Yes, Hudson is in Wisconsin, but it's very close to the border with Minnesota and Minneapolis-St. Paul. We have cousins who live there.

For a while last year we thought my family was going to move to Illiniois, but then we didn't. It would have been kind of fun, though, we would have been really close to all my cousins on my dad's side.
