Safe Space. That
Safe Space. That is the name of this thread. This thread is for people to nerd out, ask for advice anonymously if they prefer and make some friends. There might be impersonators but if it happens I want people to post about it when it happens of course but I also want us to ignore these impersonators. This thread is also a support room for people whose friends and relatives are sick or have a disease. Here are some CBers who I think might enjoy this thread.
Kitty Cat, Nyx, Heroes of Olympus, 25 Dragons and Lumi. If you know any CBers who would enjoy this post a list! I'll start off by telling you guys my Grandpa has alzheimer's and I'm really nervous because he will eventually forget who I am.
Hope you enjoy the thread! Love Miss Autumn

You're right, this is amazing, Autumn!
About your grandpa having Alzheimer's- that must be so hard. My grandfather has cancer, has had it for about 2 years, I think.
When he was diagnosed they said he would only live another year, at most, but look- he's still here and in pretty good health, otherwise!
So, my message to you is don't worry too much about the future. It's going to happen, and it will be incredibly sad- we're here for you wehn it does, by the way- but for now, focus on the moments you have.
You never know.
Miracles happen all the time.

Oooh this is a great idea. I'm so sorry about your grandpa. I haven't been in a situation exactly like that, but I can say this: Cherish the moments you have with him and make them count. You won't regret it, I promise (sorry, I'm not nearly as good as Lumi at inspirational speeches). You are getting care a support from the whole CB community *sends positive vibes*

I feel like I bring bad luck with me.
Every six years of my life I have a series of unfortunate events.
When I was six, three people in my family died, one person had a miscarriage, and one person got divorced. Also in the same year my dad got fired and moved to a different city that is far away from where my mom, my sister, and I are.
This year there is a pandemic, two people in my family are diagnosed with cancer, one person had a miscarriage, and one fell into depression. If that doesn't prove that every six years I have a series of bad l don't know what does.

Okay MoonHalo that completely and utterly sucks. However none of that is your fault. Even if the signs point to you being bad luck try to think more positive. Also try imagining that your family is cursed and the only thing that will break the curse is positive thinking. And yes I do realize how corny that sounds. You are an amazing person and an amazing CBer.

I just heard that my friend's dad died. It's hard because his family is close with my family. I'm still kind of in shock.
I'm so sorry to hear this. Your friend will really appreciate your support and friendship in the weeks and months ahead.

I'm so sorry No one that must stink. I'm not going to tell you that you or your friend will feel better automatically. However you will feel better eventually. I don't have much experience with dead friends or relatives but it seems incredibly hard to deal with.

Miss Autumn, I totally understand how you feel. <3 Alzheimer's is super scary. My grandpa was diagnosed with Alzheimer's ten years ago, and he's still alive to this day. Although he's not quite the same intelligent, witty, active person he was before, he still remembers me after all of these years. I wish your grandpa luck! You're going to get through this. <3 <3

@Miss Autumn, my grandpa also has alzheimer's, and probably sometime in June, he asked me who I was. I'm worried that he'll forget me again. And he also likes frozen TV dinners, so my mom makes homemade meals (He dosen't like homemade meals any more...), and put them in a TV dinner carton thingy!
Hey, does anyone have any advice on what to do about movin' and how to deal with it? I know for SURE that I'm movin' in the spring.
