I am being home schooled this year for the first time ever. My family and I are going to be moving, but we are not sure when, so we decided it was best that I didn't start school. We contacted my school and they said they would send books, but nothing has come. Regular school actually starts today. I guess my mom and I are just sort of going to do a different subject for each day. Today is going to be English Lit. She's making me read 2 chapters out of Puddenhead Wilson and then she and I have to discuss them an activity, and then we are to listen to a lecture on the middle ages.

Cool!!!!! Homeschooling gives you lots of flexability, and if you want you can even do school in your pjs!! Plus you get to spend a lot more time with your family, and still have a great time with your friends. :):):)

Well, we can't. My dad wants us dressed, showered, breakfasted and so on at seven thirty. Our first year he wanted us in shoes and socks, but that just didn't work - we are a barefooted family, in general. :D

Are you enjoying it so far?? I don't think i would do well in a public or private school. To many distractions, my mind wanders easily enough.. Best of luck with the school year!
