Hi everyone! Papillon here! I'm new to the CB, but everything looks great here. I can't wait to join some roleplays and stuff. I just made this thread to let everyone know I'm here. Make sure to tell me any tips on how things work around here.

If you see topping comments, that is because of a glitch in the system. Top is not one CBer, it is a lot! The glitch makes it so after the first comment on a thread is posted, it goes to the back pages. To find your post, click on "submitted by", and click "last" at the bottom of the page. You'll probably find your thread there. After I post this someone will have to Top it. ;)
The CB is run by our wonderful admins, who go through every single comment and thread to make sure they are appropriate. They can delete comments and threads.

The name is mostly off the Papillion breed of dog! At least, thats where I heard the name. I don't actually have a Papillion, unfortunately. But I think they're cute and adorable, and those BIG FLUFFY EARS... Anyway, that's where I got the name.

I THOUGHT it was a dog breed!! I knew I'd heard it before, and I just had like a feeling that it was some sort of dog or something. I'm bad at explaining lol.
But that's an awesome name! Papillons are sooooo cute. <3

Aloha, Papillion! I don't have any tips for you that aren't in the Ultimate Guide that Mistia gave you, but I do have a few questions. What do you like doing? What sort of music do you like, if any? Do you have any good books you could reccomend?
Oh, I can't think of any open RPs at the moment, but I would suggest joining a ski lodge, which are very special CB brand murder mysteries. Spirit has one that hasn't started yet, I believe.

Ooh, I'll definitely join the ski lodge. Maybe today! To answer your questions, what I like is reading (butttt pretty sure everyone here likes that) writing, drawing comics, biking, and playing soccer, among other things. I don't listen to much music, although sometimes I dance to musical numbers in a movie or whatever. I'm not sure I have a favorite. Hmmmm, Try Everything from Zootopia is good. I also like about every song in The Greatest Showman. Good books? Maybe the Wings of Fire series, Survivors, Harry Potter, and Bridge to Terabithia. May think of some others soon.

Hiya Papillon! I'm Bakerloo. I first joined the CB back in 2016, left in late 2017 and returned just this summer. I mostly hang around Pudding's Place (PP) and Kyngdom (which I highly recommend checking out once you've found your 'sea legs' here).

Welcome to the CB, Papillon! I'm Kitten, and I love reading, writing, and dancing. I'm currently reading Circe by Madeline Miller, which is rather long and possibly not appropriate for younger CBers, but I'm really enjoying it. I also recently reread the Graceling Realm books, which are also rather long and possibly not appropriate for younger CBers, but which I also highly recommend. Do you like reading? What are some of your favorite books?
The Ultimate Guide has most of the information you might need to know, but I think my biggest tip would be to spend a little time looking around the CB and seeing what threads there already are before starting some of your own. I don't mean to discourage you from making your own threads, of course! I've just noticed that sometimes new CBers have inadvertently duplicated threads that already exist, which you might want to avoid.
