Eclipse~

I silently and quickly slip through the chaos, trying to find somewhere quiet where I can get my thoughts together and figure out what the heck I'm supposed to do here. I'm definitely NOT going to do something stupid like get into a water fight and be sopping wet all night. Although, I wonder if my AE powers include intant drying? Doubtful. Anyway, I reach the edge of the woods, and it seems rather appealing right now... I step in.

Flora~

After I make sure Fauna's ok, I try to get my bearings and stand up, surveying the yard. It looks kind of fun, actually...but when I imagine myself actually trying to do this I shake my head and make a beeline for the door of the rustic cabin. It looks kind of cute, actually, maybe it'll be nice and peaceful in there? I walk in and realize it was a wishful thought that anywhere inhabited by AEs would be peaceful...at least it's better than outside! I see a girl standing alone as her fellow AE walks over to another group, and I take a deep breath and walk over to her.

Blaire -

I feel someone bump into the couch and turn around, I see Rayne and smile, blushing slightly, and fixing my hair "Hey Rayne, it's nice to see you again, it's been a while" I see that he's blushing to, and it makes me blush harder. His hair is such a nice color... I get jolted out of my reverie when I notice that he is saying something.

Ace~

Maverick says they play guitar and sing, which is pretty awesome. Then they ask, "Hey Ace, what kind of music do you like? I'll play you something sometime."

I think about it for a second. "I don't know. I like most stuff, but I'm definitely into more upbeat music. Anything danceable." I demonstrate, dancing badly, then lean forward and whisper, just like they did, "Don't tell, but I'm not actually the best dancer in the world."

"Really?" Maverick says with a smirk. "I'd never have guessed."

I take another bite of my cookie, then say, "Hey, do you want to go walk around outside for a bit? We could tell other AEs how awesome we are."

Bean~

As we chat, another AE approaches our table. We all look up at her.

"Hey!" she says. "Um... can I join you?"

"Definitely!" I respond warmly, and the others nod. "I'm Bean, and this is Harper. What's your name?"

"I'm Sunflower," she responds, sitting between Harper and Grace.

"It's nice to meet you!" Prince says. "We were just talking about meeting new friends."

"So good timing!" Grace adds. "Cupcake?"

Harper~

Another AE joins our little group. Her name is Sunflower. Grace offers her a cupcake, which she accepts.

"So, uh, how are you liking the party?" I ask.

She shrugs. "I only just got here, but it seems fun so far."

I nod, feeling a little embarrassed. "Oh. Good."

Grace swoops in to the rescue. "I've been having a great time! Did you see the water gun fight outside?"

"And inside," Bean adds with a smile.

Jade~

I grab my nerf gun, and Alex grabs his weapons. there's a water fight, but I prefer nerf. We sneak around to the top of the stairs, overlooking everyone else. I hand Alex a scrunchie and show him how to use it: Loop it around the trigger to have non-stop firing! Everyone shrieks as we pummel them, and I laugh. "Isn't this fun?" I ask Alex, and he nods. This is the best party ever!!!

Castalia~

Jade has used her scrunchie tatic on me before, so I managed to get a few AEs safely to the corner of the room, including me! I finish my strawberry and put on some chapstick. I'm ready to go out there. Grabbing one of Jade's water guns, I fill it up, and squirt her. "Eek," she squeels. "Castalia, I didn't know you were any fun!" I smile. "Guess I'm full of surprises."

~Rayne~

What a way to say hello. I'm so clumsy. "Hi," I mumble to Blaine. "I. . . I'm so sorry. Um. Do you like. . . toads?" Ugh. Ugh, ugh, ugh. I asked if she LIKED TOADS. How stupid do I have to be? She must think I'm so stupid.

(No, she's blushing,) my brain comments. I ignore my brain. What does it know? She's probably embarrased. (She definitely likes you,) my brain continues. (I mean, who wouldn't? You're incredible.) I do my best to shut down my brain, because it's starting to sound like Abcde, and I do NOT want to go down that path. However, my brain-shutting-down expression makes it look as if I have a horrible stomach ache, which makes me blush even harder. Why can't I stop blushing. I look over at Blaine, and she seems to be slightly confused. (But she's smiling,) said my not-shut-down brain.

~Grace~

There are so many people talking to me! This pie is delicious! There's a water fight! This is SO the best day of my life! Sunflower. I know her! I made her cookies a while ago. She's one of Lupine's Alter Egos, and she lives near me.

I take a big bite out of my pie, and motion towards the party. "So. Where are everyone's siblings? Besides the ones who are right here, I mean? And oh my goodness, Bean, you're such a good baker! I need this recipe."

Then, I realize I left Prince hanging. Again. Oops. My mind seems to have slipped away in all the excitement. "I don't know very many other AEs either. I know Sunflower, though. I made her cookies! And I know Penny. She's really fun. And all of Shaow's siblings, but that's just because of Abcde. And now I know all of you! This party is so much fun." I laugh. 

Maverick!

Ace demonstates his dance moves for me. Awkwardly bad, but in a very cute way. 

"Don't tell, but I'm not actually the best dancer in the world," he whispers. 

"Really?" I smirk. "I'd never have guessed."

"Hey, do you want to go walk around outside for a bit? We could tell other AEs how awesome we are."

"That sounds like an awesome idea." Ace grabs my hand and we go outside. Nyx's cabin is in an awesome location. There's all these cool, old trees straight out of a fairytale. Thankfully, it's a little quieter too. 

"Whoa, I hope we don't get lost in here." We look around. I can still hear the party, so as long as we don't wander too far away we should be fine...

Lavender

I watch Sunflower leave, instantly regretting my decision. But I'm not alone for long. Two AEs, one of whom I recognize as Azalea's AE Flora, walk over to me.

"Hi!" the second AE says. "I'm Vivian. What's your name?" 

"I-I'm Lavender," I stutter. Oh no. Not social interaction!

"Good to meet you," Vivian says. Flora smiles warmly and gestures towards the door. "This place is chaos," she says. "Let's go find somewhere quieter." I smile, nod and follow the two of them out of the cabin. On my way out I glance over at Sunflower. She's chatting happily with Grace, the cookie girl, Prince, and another AE I don't recognize. Relieved that she's having a good time, I walk out the door...and am instantly hit with a blast of water.

ZINNIA

DIRECT HIT! I LOOK TO SEE WHO I GOT AND SEE LAVENDER STANDING IN THE DOORWAY OF THE CABIN, DRIPPING WITH WATER. OOPS. AS A GENERAL RULE, I TRY NOT TO ATTACK MY QUIET SISTER. FOR ONE THING, SUNFLOWER WOULD KILL ME. FOR ANOTHER, I DON'T WANT TO. LAVENDER'S TOO NICE.

IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE, I SEE A TIDAL WAVE OF ANGER FLASH ACROSS HER FACE. WHEN SUNFLOWER GETS ANGRY SHE YELLS AND STOMPS HER FEET, BUT LAVENDER'S BODY JUST TENSES AND SHE STANDS THERE, FROZEN. FINALLY HER BODY RELAXES AND SHE TAKES A DEEP BREATH, PUSHING THE HAIR OUT OF HER FACE. HER EYES NARROW, A SLY SMILE SNEAKING ACROSS HER FACE. THEN SHE DUCKS DOWN, GRABS A WATER GUN THAT WAS LYING ON THE GROUND AT HER FEET, AND SQUIRTS ME FULL IN THE FACE.

Sunflower

Grace seems to really be enjoying herself. And after the first awkward few moments, I am, too. All of these AEs are so nice. Grace tells me that she's the one who gave us those cookies a while back, and I thank her. She hands me a cupcake, which is amazing. She really is a good baker.

"So, where do you live?" Prince asks. I swallow a huge bite of red velvet and clear my throat. "We live sort of close to Grace and Pygmy Owl's other AEs," I say. "Our house is kind of out in the woods, in a little aspen grove. It's just a little cottage."

"That sounds nice," says Bean. 

Are we up for reviving this?? It was off to a good start...but idk.

I -- should really get some AEs . . .

Blaine-

I smile at Rayne. He looks rather uncomfortable, but I can't blame him, so do I "I like toads, but tree frogs are my favorite, their so bright and pretty, or those tiny little frogs that are so cute. But ummm..." I blush, unsure how to say what I'm thinking without sounding stupid "do you, uh, want to go for a walk or... something?" I'm sure I sounded dumb, I really hope Rayne doesn't think I'm stupid, I really want him to like me, like REALLY do, I've never felt this way before.
