Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Did anyone see the comet Neowise? My family drove all around our city looking for it, and then when we got home I spotted it with the naked eye! Of course, if we hadn’t spent all that time driveling around we would have gone inside before it was dark enough to see it. It was a little pathetic, but with less light pollution it would probably be amazing! Seriously though, it was only like, a pale white dot with a smear behind it, like someone put their elbow in some paint. This is getting long, so I’ll end it, but maybe this can be an astronomy thread?
