Chatterbox: Down to Earth
Cheers! After not
Cheers! After not riding a horse since last December, I'm back in the saddle again, and my teacher says it's like I never stopped, I remember it all so well. The horse is his same fat, lazy, what-is-this-move-of-which-you-speak, gimme-my-treat-now, blowing-like-a-marathon-runner-when-the-pesky-beast-hasn't-been-more-than-flatwalking, loveable self. He is not a beginner's horse - you have to remind him the meaning of move every five seconds - but I began on him cause he's the only rideable horse Mrs. C. has, and I love the stinky beast. Cheers again! And now I'm really tired and my rear hurts and I need to go to bed, as you can probably tell from the ramblyness. Random fact: marathons were named after a Greek runner who relayed the news of a Greek victory at the Battle of Marathon twenty-six miles to the command post, delivered the message, and promptly died. :D Luverly cheerful thought, that.

Cool, that seems fun! :D How long have you been
horseback riding (sorry, if you've said it before in
some other thread. I didn't see it if you did. :\)?

Three and a half, four years? I don't really remember. :P

You know, after being all enthusiastic about it, my rear end has been really painful for two days now. Like it's all bruised. It hurts..... Then again, it's well worth it. Or so I tell myself. Sorry, I'm in a pessimistic mood just now. Or, as my brother likes to say, "I'm a pessimist for optimistic reasons." Let's go with that, shall we?
