Chatterbox: Down to Earth

The most remarkable

The most remarkable thing happened the other day! You know my sister Haley right, Paige & Kimberly? Well, she has soccer games on Saturdays, and Daddy's been taking her in his old pickup truck that he's been expecting to break down for seven years now. Last soccer game on Saturday, it was at Woodby Island and that is far away. Well, they were gone all day, went on a ferry, at least 50 miles on Woodby Island, and on the way back the truck starts making a funny noise. But they get on a ferry back, and take a detour to go out to eat and head back home. They drive all the way out to our town, and not a hundred yards from our house, the truck stops. Just stops. Daddy wasn't dissapointed at all. They just got out and pushed the truck down the alley and home. After driving 100 miles it stopped where it did! The Lord protected them! If that wouldn't make you feel watched over, I don't know what would. 0_0

OOOh!  I've got one:

One time my mom, sister and I were walking down to the barn. Right next to the barn there's this old leaning tree. It kept getting more and more crooked, and we figured that someday the wind would bring it down. My Mom said to us, "If you hear that tree start to fall, girls, just run." So anyway, we were walking down there on a cold and rainy November day, when Mom realized she had forgotten something. Back we all went to get it, and we were just coming back down the path for the second time when suddenly, right where we would have been if not for the forgotten item, the tree fell. It was unbelievingly loud. And fast. Had we have been there, there would have been no time to get out of the way, at all. But we wernt there. Something made us forget that one thing. It saved our lives.

Now is that God, or what???!!

Wow!! That's amazing!! This wonderful lady, who used to be my Sunday school teacher, told us this story.  She was walking to church, when she had the strangest feeling that she had left the TV on. Even though she was pretty sure that she hadn't, she went back to check anyway. It turns out that when she was back at her house, a drunk driver went crazy and started to speed and go on the sidewalk, right where she would have been. When she came back, her neighbor told her what had happened, and later that day, in church, she accepted Jesus!  :):):)  Isn't that great?!?! Now she's been teaching Sunday school for over fifty years, and, in the year that she taught me, two other kids became Christians!!!!!!

Cool story, Paige! This isnt nearly as awesome a "conversion by amazing experience," but one time my mom and her friend (an atheist, is that how you spell it?), were looking at the sunset. My mom said "When you look at this, how can you not believe in God?" and he said "I guess you're right." And started believing in God. Neat, huh?

That is neat!!  Sunsets are so amazing, they just have to have been made by an awesome and magnificent creator.  Wow!!  :):):)

It's a good thing it didn't stop 100 MILES from your house! That would be a great workout... if you survived.
