Oh. My. Gosh.

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Oh. My. Gosh.

Oh. My. Gosh. I am so freaked out. THERE WAS A SHOOTING IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD!!!!! The police ruled out accidental and suicide, which leaves...*gulp* murder. And furthermore, the murderer had no motivation. So, he could just as well kill anybody!!!!!!! And did I mention its in my neighborhood??????  They haven't caught the guy yet, either!

We're sorry to hear that, Kit Kat. I'm sure the police are working hard on the case and are keeping your neighborhood safe. Your family will help you, too.

I'm so glad you and your family are alright.

My dad witnessed a drive by shooting.  Me and my mom and brother were camping near Mendocino, but he had to work and stayed at home.  He was in the bay area and took a wrong turn and ended up in a really bad part of Richmond.  And if you know Richmond, you know that you don't want to hang out really anywhere there... especially at night.  So he was driving along, trying to find a way back to the freeway, when these two cars drove up next to him.  The one closer to him opened the passenger window and shot at the other car.  Luckily no one was killed.  The car that shot drove out of there really fast, and the other car sort of swerved away and crashed a bit down the road.  I think the people inside tried to get away... I'm not sure.  Anyway, my dad didn't have a cell phone at the time, so he drove to the nearest building and banged on the door.  Finally someone came and reluctantly let him use their phone.  The police came and questioned him about it and let him leave.  He called us shortly after.

I'm not religious, but I can tell you, I thanked god immensely that night, and have billions of times ever since.  I'm was so relieved to hear he was alright.  I can imagine how terrifying it must have been.  *shudders*

I'm glad it wasn't anyone you knew.  And don't worry, chances are that person wont be coming back to your area.  Not after that.  :)

It's scarier because our small city/township never really gets murders....i mean, most of that is up in the big city about 45 min. away. There are always shootings and murders, and I won't even say what all. It's a big murder city. But not mine!!!!!!!!!!!

Awwwww, Kit Kat *gives comfort hug* I'm sure it'll be all right. Your in my prayers, I promise. You'll be fine, I'm sure. That must be really scary. I wish I could do something about it... Sheesh! Wouldn't it be funny if everybody on the Chatterbox made a giant army and could get ahold of that murderer!! What we would do to him for terrorizing our Kit Kat!!!!!! Grrrrr. Sadly, I don't think that's exactly possible... Still, it's a nice thought.....

Yikes.... that is scaaaaary. I'll be praying for you. The police will keep you safe too. I think that the killer would have to be really stupid to go back in your neighborhood with all the police around, though.

Good and lovely news, everybody! the police captured the suspect and he is under custody. *skips around merrily, strewing flowers everywhere* they found a bunch of (200) marijuana plants in his basement too, which is kind of freaky, but his is gone!
