So right now I’m listening to U2, who are the best! Oh wait. I forgot. This thread is for just discussing music and saying what you’re listening to. So I’m listening to U2 and Bon Jovi. (Yeah I’m old school XP) and Bryan Adams. So yeah. (I’m so bad at creating threads...) Have fun!

Right now I'm listening to a Piano Guys playlist. I absolutely love their music! The fact that they can play popular songs on 'traditional' instruments really inspires me. Maybe I'll take cello in colledge...
I also really like Linsey Stirling, for much the same reason.

Oh yeah! I really like the Piano Guys! Have you listened to their Star Wars one? I really like that one. I play violin, so I also really like the classical composers like Vivaldi, Bach, Beethoven (!), and I’ve recently discovered Fredrich Seitz. (I don’t think I spelled that right...)
Seitz is correct. I'm not sure how his first name is spelled without looking it up.

I like U2 as well! Other than that, I've been listening to a lot of Copland, my favorites likely being Appalachian Springs or Rodeo Hoedown (I was once in a beginner orchestra type thing, and there are orchestras for more experienced kids too, and one of them played Rodeo: Hoedown and it was AWESOME), Pictures at an Exhibition, Beatles, Chopin (did I spell that right?), The Planets, The Police, that sort of thing. (Those are the ones I thought of first, I'm not going to list it all.) Oh, and this is probably going to sound wierd, but Music for Cats by David Teie. It's really relaxing and it makes my cat Kitten (usually, and her real name is Catarina Daisy before you wonder at the impressively dull name) stop rampaging the house.... I think I'm part cat, which doesn't surprise me.

My brother was in a ballet piece to Rodeo:Hoedown and it was so cool! I love that one!

I really like Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and Coldplay, and also Foster the People, and Passion Pit.
Oh, and The Decemberists. They are definitely worth checking out! This may be too many bands :p

I'm not listening to any music right now, but I've been discovering a lot of new music lately and I found out that I like the indie pop genre. Some people I've been listening to are Tiffi, mxmtoon, some stuff from bülow, and Cavetown. They're really good! I especially like that kind of acoustic feel, where the person is just playing guitar and singing, I find it really pretty.
