As I said on NaNo, mine was real. I don't know about Sybill's, and I don't know Dolphin at all, but that does seem a little weird.

Sybill recently started an RP, so I doubt she would drop out so soon afterward. Dolphin, I doubt would allow their grammar to look like that in an official post. Catsquill's was real, tho.

Message to impersonator (if there is one): What your doing isn't funny, but we won't be mad if you would just come clean, or just stop impersonating. Honestly. 

Yeah, Catsquill sounded like Catsquill, but I’m suspicious about the other two. On both, only the age field was filled in, and it was filled in wrong on Dolphin’s.

Sybill just posted this morning, so I think you are right about an impersonator.

Whoever is doing that, please just stop. It makes the CB seem like its going in an unkind direction, which is not what CB is suppposed to do. There are lots of really great people on here and its not funny to act like those people.

Also, @Leafy I think this was a while ago but weren't you and Leeli being impersonated a lil bit? Nothing serious, just a little. it was a few months ago, I thought I saw something about it on the Art Posting thread, might be remembering wrong tho. Anyway i doubt that's the same person anyway.

Yeah, I think there is an impersonater because two new "bye I'm leaving" threads just popped up, one by anon girl (I think, sorry if I spelled it wrong or something) and the other by March. I don't know these people and if they are leaving or not, but it seemed suspicious. Also, I have a totally unrelated question. What's NaNoWriMo forum and that stuff?   

National Novel Writing Month is an online program to encourage people to write a novel. There's a Young Writers section and I believe that's what Chatterboxers are talking about. One of them can tell you more.

PSA! The impersonator keeps making more threads, and I think they're being fueled by everyone giving their fake leaving threads attention and commenting on them and freaking out about there being an impersonator, so if possible can we all just not comment on any threads that look like impersonations? Because if we can ignore the posts, the impersonator won't be getting any attention and they'll eventually stop. Like, don't even comment "impersonator alert" or anything. Because then the person is getting recognition and attention and that will encourage them.

And @impersonator, who will probably read this since this whole thread is about them, I'm honestly really ashamed of you. It's not a nice thing to steal people's names and identities and pull the Chatterbox, which is a community where kids are supposed to be able to feel safe and welcome, in the wrong direction, just to get attention. There are so many other ways to get noticed, and make an actual lasting impact on the CB, using your own name. Do something productive. I'm sure you have actual talents. Put them to use. Sure, impersonating people will draw attention but nobody is going to be impressed by it. Find something else to do.

I agree. I saw Dolphin's and Sbyill's, (and also Catsquill's, but I know that one's probably real), and I agree-- both were short, vague, and downright suspicious. This seems like a serious mass impersonation.

Impersonater, if you're reading this, then QUIT IT. This is really messed up. You're making people think that their friends are leaving.

Yeah, I agree. I haven't been on in a while but it seems like there is one. Impersonator, I don't know. You shouldn't steal people's identities or make people think their friends are leaving. Not cool. I probably won't get mad if you come clean, but you really shouldn't do that.
