DEBATE STARTER: The Jonas Brothers are one of the best bands in the world.
I just thought that I'd start a debate, because those are fun, as long as no one gets too mad (yes, I know, I have gotten to that point in several debates!). If you like, you can post facts that prove that Jonas Brothers are or are not one of the best bands in world.
Debates are fun--just remember to be polite. Respect the viewpoints of the opposing side, even if you don't agree with them!

You can't state facts about the future, but I predict that no one will listen to their music by the time I am grown up. And this is not a fact, that proves anything, but I think that their music is Bla-zeh (however you spell that). And I dislike the "cutsie" thingy surrounding them.

I think it's blasé. But don't worry; I'm not even sure what it means exactly! Just how to spell it. :)
Anyway, I don't have a strong feeling about the Jonas Brothers; I haven't listened to much of their music or seen their show. From what I've seen they seem fine, they're just not my kind of thing.

I don't like any JB song anymore. I only watch their show when there is nothing else on, just as an excuse to watch TV. And on the bus in DC (which only had 42 tweens and the supervisors of the conference on it) no one wanted to listen to the JB.

I'm not going to post, because I STINK at debates, even when the topic is something simple, such as the Jonas Brothers. Buuut, I don't know how well this topic is going to work, because whether "the Jonas Brothers are or are not one of the best bands in world" is an opinion. Some people will say they are, and some will say they aren't. But with global warming and Creation/evolution, only one side is correct (ahem, and I know which one!!! Ahem, no replies, please!!). So really, don't be offended if this "debate" turns into people saying how the Jonas Brothers sound like whining mosquitos. :)

Well, I think the Jonas Brothers are a light enough subject, so even if it is opinions, they can't be too bad.

Well, 1. They don't sound good live. Which SHOULD hint that they're not very good. Anyone can be good in a recording studio where the can make it sound good with technology.

They're not very good in my opinion, but it is a matter of taste and depends on what kind of music you like. As Emily said, it's pop culture and in ten years very few people will listen to their music. For now I suppose they're harmless enough, though.

I strongly disagree with Elizabeth. However, I don't think that I can use any facts here. Whether or not their music is good is a matter of opinion. Some people will like them, and some people won't. You can't 'prove' that they are or aren't one of the world's best bands.

This is a pretty hard debate becuz everyone agrees that the Jo Bros aren't... uh... very good. I mean, I have friends who love them. And it's so weird becuz I want to shout out, "Are you even listening to their voices!?"
In my opinion, 13 is too old to like them!!! They sound like babies which makes 13 seem too old. I don't want to offend EW, becuz I really like u!!!! So I won't go on. <3

How can you say that!!!??? They don't sound like babies!!!!! Grr! I'm glad that you like me, though. And, not everyone thinks that they're bad. Both BuksRul and I like them! Well, I really like them, but BuksRul just thinks they're pretty good.

Well, I don't love them-I do have a few of there songs that I like, but not all, and I'll watch there show if I (despretely) need something to do. Actual fact: Kevin is a good guitar player. The rest of them are not. (I'm not saying I'm an expert or anything, 'cause they're probabaly all better then me, It's just that compared to Kevin, they all stink at the guitar. No offense!)
